Everything has a meaning by nyanpierre
You are the wizard's apprentice, you must prepare the summoning circle while he's gone. The summoning instructions were placed on the pedestal near the circle. Placing four different elements and drawing the four correct symbols is required to create the powerful spell your master is expecting from you... Are you really willing to comply with those directions?
You can use the magic spells with the Arrow or WASD to move around in the workshop and navigate actions. You can also cast the powerful spell with [F] to interact with objects, when you know what action you wanna do you can cast [F] again to confirm the action or try the other spell [C] to concentrate again on your levitating spell to move.
How many ends did you find ?

great work.
But I liked the atmosphere and idea! Thanks for such a great job!
I think this is something you meant to have, but I really think the pictures on the sides of the summoning square would have benefited from have the arrows (like in the drawers). I searched for a pen and some way to erase them. I also would have liked a collision on the corners of the summoning circle, allow the player to stand next to them and turn towards them. I thought it was a bit confusion that some stuff didn't have any interaction (the sofa, and the flower pots) since you convinced me that everything has a meaning :P But then again, maybe I missed it? Or maybe the time limit didn't allowed you to?
Anyways, well done! You manage to finish a playable game, and good on you for joining the jam!
And I liked it a lot, the audio was spot on, the escape room theme was very well executed, and the endings are interesting. Shame for me the ending I got was the best, and then it went downhill from then on! Also, the narration was a fine touch!
Only complain is it took me the whole first 10 minutes to even understand how to proceed, maybe some arrows as an indication for the Cross section of the summon area. Also all the time I spent trying to click that plant or the table under it expecting something to change! Great entry!
The controls felt a little bit of. I can´t really explain what bothers me, but running into the summoning circle, even though I just wanted to look in the direction to put my stuff onto it, was one little thing that was a bit annoying.
The music put some nice atmosphere into your puzzle game, I liked it! :)
Regardless, had a lot of fun! Good job!
