Cool game and concept, although I don't think I could see the aliens? My towers would occasionally just shoot at nothing :joy: Nice graphics and the sound was good, seems like a good game to take further! Great job!

The sound was a bit repetitive after a while. Cool game though, this genre of game is definitely right up my alley. If you end up turning this into a "real" game after LD feel free to let me know as im very interested. Overall it does need a bit of work though, the graphics are nice, but i would suggest instead of going completely black and white instead do a grayscale for the background, like most websites, as that tends to look cleaner.

Overall not the most innovative game, but definitely fits the theme and an enjoyable experience. Good work!

There seems to be a bug with the camera movement — pressing W/A/S/D causes the screen to blank out in some cases (I'm using FF in Linux, if that matters). When this happens I am unable to retrieve the display and I have to restart. That being said, it's an unusual concept, and I love the black-and-white aesthetics. I also like the music and audio.

Simple TD game with w/b game. Actually, enemies is too predictable and game is too easy.

A fellow FilmCow enthusiasts I see :D I will go ahead as assume I "won" since they cannot punch trough my defense anymore for past few minutes.

Love the simplistic art style! Nice music too. In general I like tower defense game, so it was fun to try it out. Some points of feedback:
- Cats go for further mine even, if there is a one closer, so that could be improved.
- Since player score is based on time they survived, maybe a timer on the screen would be a nice addition.
- Of course different types of enemies. The standard: fast but low hp, slow but high hp, maybe some enemies moving in a zig zag pattern... Probably just changing the color of regular enemies and their stats would be enough to add a lot to the game.
- Same for few types of units that player could summon... but I get for everything to be added a lot of time is required, which is a rare commodity in a game jam.
- I'm not sure if unites accuracy is low or there is some visual glitch with bullet going in a different direction than enemy it kills.

Anyway, I had fun. Good job!

Really cute tower defense game! It would have been nice to get some ingame feedback of what you can control (mouse wheel) and a little bit more variety in the enemies and altars, but overall a solid game for three days!

Would be nice to have a mini tutorial at the beginning of the game to explain the mechanics to the player, and also to give a bit of context about what I'm doing. My cats are mining clouds, wich I can use to summon more cats, but what's the end goal? Nice little game overall, good job!

I couldn't figure out what to do for some time and eventually I found out that I really needed to be at fullscreen to see the UI. I think the game could benefit from clearer instructions and some kind of centralized score or info panel. In any case congrats on a solo submission that I'm sure took a lot of effort to achieve.
