The Court is always in session

Welcome to the Infinite Circuit Court, the highest level of court for all realms! The cases presented here will test your moral, ethical, and professional compass - be warned, this job is not for the faint of heart or light of reading!

As an ICC defense lawyer, your power comes from the jury selection process. The ICC’s MagicPortal™ is designed to select a myriad of mythical and mundane creatures from all known realms, but it cannot hold them in the ether forever. You'll have to carefully (but quickly!) consider each potential juror's background, biases, and availability to ensure your desired trial outcome. If you are unable to select a juror in time, a random one will be chosen for you. Your clients are depending on you! Don’t forget to reference your pre-trial notes for the full details of their case. It is in your best interest to stack the jury in alignment with your intended case outcome, but beware - The Court is watching your every move.

Very impressive for one weekend! Very funny premise and it delivers. I really enjoyed trying to determine who would push the case in my favor.

Wow

The artwork was amazing. The audio was an absolute vibe. Humor was excellent and the concept was so fun. Your team did an outstanding job!

Only feedback is I wasn't sure what the repercussions of my decisions were, but I was happy to see my intergalactic court horoscope at the end.

I enjoyed the characterizations a lot and I can tell your team put a lot of effort into making this submission. I thought it was very well-made and the gameplay was interesting. I hope you get more plays! I caught this on stream and it was one of the more fun games to watch overall. Overall, really good job

This was a lot of fun! The visuals are great, from the 3d courtroom to the 2d jurors. It was a lot of fun reading through all the jurors profiles while deciding if I wanted them on my jury or not. Character design was really fun and that includes the giant eyeball judge with the curly hair lmao.

I think the part I had the most trouble with is knowing if I'm making good decisions or not. Like I got 4/5 cases to be innocent, but I dont know which jurors were actually good for my case. It's also stated that The Court is judging my actions, but I have no idea what that entails, or how to please them, or if I even need to worry about them? Having the ONLY feedback be "innocent" or "guilty" left me guessing a little bit. The performance report kinda helps with this but it's all the way at the end, and by then I don't know what I did to upset the jurors.

I got this line which really left me wondering if the judge liked or disliked me in the end lmao

Also random thing, the elfs age is 0, I assume a mistake?

Despite all that, but I really enjoyed this one! It's very well made and a lot of fun to play. There's a lot to be proud of here, Great job!

Can't rate it, unfortunately, because once past the menu, the game doesn't respond to my cursor, so I cannot look around. Shame, because it looked like fun :(

@unrealkazu I think you may have encountered one of the bugs we ran into with the mouse sensitivity slider. If you want to give it another shot try increasing that value. For some reason sometimes it would get set to the minimum and wouldn't let people move the mouse.

@rhoka Thanks for the tip, but even setting it to 10 doesn't work, the cursor doesn't respond, unfortunately.

Very fun little experience, loved the way the game looked and the default settings were well set for my playing experience.
Did have a bug where, after having gone in the settings screen, I would start the game and be shown the options screen when (I believe) the main level was loading, thought the game had crashed but it responded afterwards.
Besides that, great work for this jam!
