cool idea... loooots of glitches still.

not very far in, the jump action quits working :(
plus the character always faces right, even when walking left, very odd behavior

overall its great work for a game jam ;)

Wow really cool game. It's simple enough to have a lot of content and have an actual expirence. Most of the games have great concept but the devs don't have time to showcase it well. You did. Good job. At some point a coudn't jump, had to go back and us blocks to skip the section. Maybe it's du with your grounded check. Anyway Fantastic game.

Fun little game, I got to the end. Did have some trouble when the jump stopped working but I got it working again. I liked the use of summoning blocks to create your own path. I found the artwork charming, would be nice if the song played throughout the game. Thanks for sharing!

Cool platformer. I managed to beat it but could only see half of the text on my ultrawide screen, still, I think got the important short lines.

Loved the little spirit giving the tutorial :D As others have pointed out, the jump stopped working at some point and I had to get around that by spawning my own blocks to jump on.

Not bad. But it's wired that I cannot jump sometimes, this is a bug that really annoying when play.

It was fun to play, but sometimes the jump doesn't work and you get stuck.

Fun concept, reminds me a bit of the wizard in Trine :D

As other have noted, the jump was disabled in some areas (I believe in areas with instructions). I was able to get around it by summoning the block at my feet which bumped me up :D

The menu music was not bad. Some ambient music in game would have been good too.

Very nice work on this one! You took a basic platformer and elevated it, for sure. I echo the sentiment that this has Trine vibes, in a good way. Like many others, I got the jump glitch, but since you can summon a platform underneath yourself to fix that, it isn't a game-breaker, just a mild annoyance. The art and atmosphere are delightful, and the "You're Still Dead" game over screen cracked me up. I'm a little sad there weren't (to my knowledge) any secrets in the game, since this setup would really seem to lend itself to more exploration. But maybe I just didn't explore enough. Great job!

Good take on a platformer giving the player more to work with. The humor was great, would love to see a backing track and some more hazards, or uses for the pieces in situations that some might not work for. Great job!

Interesting take on platforming, not a fan of genre but ability to create your own platforms makes it easier to perform sick moves.

I like the idea but overall it was a bit glitchy. I was often not able to jump and the character looked very shaky when walking.

I was particularly impressed by how you employed the summoning theme to guide players through the level progression. This design element proved surprisingly engaging. Initially, I encountered some sections where jumping appeared to be disabled. However, upon further exploration, I discovered that these were intentional zones, adding a unique layer of guidance where to go in levels.
