Hey! What was your hardest trip on the train? Answer after a play!

You have to protect your train from robo-invaders. Keep your carriages safe, you will see, it helps you. But don't worry, you have your own robots as well. Try to find the best strategy!

Leave in comment how many Miles you reached!

Quick Help

WASD - Movement.

Right Click - Summooon!

Left Click - Fire!

1 / 2 - Switch Robot Blueprint.

Enemy robots are trying to destroy each of your carriages. But you can repair a broken carriage.

Detailed rules

I would suggest you to discover the game yourself, but if you want to know everything before your play then that's it:

  • The goal is to reach as far as you can (in miles)
  • You lose only if you character die.
  • You have 3 carrieges. You can see their HP on the left. You can lose all of them. But you supposed to be died to that time or 3 seconds after :)
  • You can summon 2 types of robots - one ordinary warrior and one summoner. Summoner summons warrior every N seconds.
  • Every 10 miles you got invaders. It might be a few capsules in different cars. As far you ride as stronger enemy becomes.
  • You have only one resource - gears. You can buy robots for them or repair carriages.
  • Every dead robots (ally or enemy) leave you gears.
  • I would not recommend staying in the locomotive :)

I really missed having a tutorial in this game; however, I managed to stick around for 100 miles.

I like the planning aspect of finding enough time to put down the heavier robot.

One thing that was a little difficult to deal with was how all robots cannot travel between train cars - I guess that keeps it a bit balanced, but it would be fun to have an army of robots that follow you around as you dash up and down the train :sunglasses:

Not bad, an interesting game that reminded me of the level from Resident Evil 4 where you need to shoot back on the train. P.S. The summoner robot is useless! It's faster and easier to summon robots yourself than to wait for him + he can be destroyed! If it cost half as much it would be OK, but not for that kind of money

The graphics and music matched nicely together. Reached 141 miles. :)

I really enjoyed the game! Think the balancing of robot damage and health and have a few tweaks, but overall it was fun!

I reached 121 miles.

@gleb-yakovlev, Thank you for the observation. At first glance, summoners really do not seem profitable. But this game is focused on reaching as far as possible. Summoners produce free resources, where as usually robots don't. So, maybe some strategy that use summoners can bring you futher than you do with attacking robots :)

I didn't make this challange easy, and that's the point. Actually, I don't know the answer on my question about the best strategy. Playtesting our game, I find new solutions every time that make my record bigger.

Good game! I managed to get to 139 miles, wish the shootings could be faster lol. After a while I only stayed in one carriage once the other one was occupied by lots of robots.

@aivaxela Thank you for playing and giving feedback! I really happy that you like the gameplay! There was no time to implement a lot of features, but I tried to balance the game to make a good challenge :)

Okay, this requires skill and quick adaptation to the difficulty that arrives more or less quickly. It's not unfeasible, but it's hard enough to get to around 130 miles.

A real challenge!

@k-toll Thank you a lot for your play and feedback! You are absolutely right, the thing is in challenge! :) Yes, 130 miles is a good result!

A great concept, fun art, and nice game!

The strategy is really interesting here. Managing 3 carriages is very engaging and has some different ways to do so.
I managed to get to 166 miles. Sometimes it does feel that a lot depends on whether at some point the carriages doesn't get struck by 2 rockets at a time. If that happens on score ~50, the game is lost. It does seem sometimes that I wasn't even at fault in my defeat. Cog spawn at the very start is very critical too for an early summoner. It is challenging, fun but I can't determine what my mistakes are.

I certainly think that 180-200 is possible if I don't get myself killed but let the carriage get destroyed, but don't know if it's possible to go further. I'm curious to know what's your highscore to know what's possible here!

I've been playing for an hour, maybe more. That means that your game really is captivating! Certainly needs more ratings. Great job!

Very fun game! I traveled 292 miles! I ended up placing only big robots, and got a huge army in the first wagon. I really want to be able to move robots between wagons, because with my huge army I couldn't move any further. And also it seems to me that the damage of the enemies over time becomes more, so I died from one random hit from some robot (I'm not sure, the game started to slow down from too many robots)))). But it was still a lot of fun to play!

PS. А ещё почему-то никто не пишет что у вас очень крутая музыка и в целом саунд-дизайн, видимо, потому что играть слишком весело))

@risminator Thank you a lot for your play and comment! That's game was made for player like you and I'm very, very happy that you like it! You are absolutely right, there is a chance, that rocket spawner ruin your game by sending a lot of rockets to one carriage. Unfortunately, I had no time to balance this aspect, but from my experience, you can save at least 1 carriage with a big chance :)
200 miles is possible, but it takes a lot of tries even from me too reach it) Every time I tried to guess where I can get more profit. If you're interested in passing 200 miles, try to manage only 1 car, but trying defend other a bit as long as you can to get resources from them.

And as you ask I publish my record :) It is 370 miles. There was 2 problem in that game. The first is that if you have only 1 car - you will lost anyway, because every new wave damage it even if there are your unit (it's a bug :( ). The second - animation (as I guess) module doesn't work well and when you have 200+ units your FPS drops and it's hard to play then.

But I believe that it's possible to never lose there! :) Unexpectedly, this simple game design turned out an interesting field of experiments, haha)

Anyway, very thank you for your plays and comment!

@sid37, Oh, God! It seems you are a leader now! Your idea to move robots between cars is definitely what has to be, but we have no time to implement this :( Also we wanted to make a feature with uncoupling of wagons and some buff on player's choice.
And you found another problem that can be seen only on big miles - your enemy damages becomes more than your HP :) That's what we had to predict and fix also.

Anyway, thank you a lot! I'm really happy that you were interested to beat you records and got so far!

@meranolean, ah, I didn't know that you can have you carriages destroyed and continue playing! I somehow thought that if even one carriage was destroyed, it meant game over. Thank you for the tip and your fun game!

Well polished game! Summoning a robot army was good fun! I also would have enjoyed being able to bring the robots between train cars but still really good overall!

The concept is very fun! Graphics are pleasant, and the thumbnail art is awesome! I also like the sfx.

Shooting feels a bit clunky - would be nice to have crosshairs to see where you are aiming. It's also possible to get very stuck in a cart - as you cannot shoot through the door and the robots do not travel between carts, enemy robots can just bunch up at the door, making it practically insta-death to go in.

Overall, I enjoyed playing it! The pacing is perfect, it's a nice energetic experience.

Great game both in terms of gameplay and graphically. I think the best strategy is to defend just one wagon, since the robots can't move from one wagon to another. I loved playing it ! Well done :)

Nice concept and mechanics, it was a pleasure to play the game. I wish I could shoot through doors, because it sometimes dangerous to enter the room due to a cluster of enemy bots. All in all, cool neat game, I wish luck to developers with its follow ups :)
