The drawing part should be more forgiving, otherwise a very fun concept

I finished the Witcher 3 a few days ago, so you can imagine how much fun it was to play your game !

Classic summoning drawing + ingredients, right on point. It's a good core concept and I like how it is a bit of a puzzle, but on some occasions I couldn't figure out at all on why my summoning failed and that's frustrating for the player.

Really cool game, very on theme! I was confused for a bit when summoning as I didn't realise you could scroll the ingredients.

Loved that the customers were random, was really funny that in my playthrough Ivan kept going missing haha.

Drawing the Summoning circle was really cool!

Fun game - enjoyed playing it. Still didn't manage to make the healing potion though.
Good mechanics, pleasant dialogues. Enjoyed that there's sometimes a choice in these dialogues, not just one option upon success.
Orders often repeated in a row - felt a bit strange. Like I didn't fulfill the order. Just returned Vanka, and he disappeared again.
Stylish graphics, atmospheric music. If there's an update with more dialogues, I'll replay it)

@alexascher к сожалению мы успели сделать не особо много заказов, поэтому они повторяются. Но в дальнейшем думаем добавить еще)

Great game completely on theme. The atmosphere is engaging and the concept is nice. I hate AI (because I'm the artist on my team and these things will put me out of work), but the graphics are well chosen and fit well into the whole. Good entry!

@tayteus Unfortunately we didn't have an artist at the jam, so we had to use AI

I like the idea of drawing mechanics. The Ai art acts as a nice placeholder. It fits well

Circle drawing is SUPER unforgiving. At first i've thought that game bugged or i've made something wrong. Otherwise nice concept!

I agree with the unforgiving drawing mechanics comments, it completely broke the experience for me, sadly. But the overall concept is very nice.

It's a good concept. But it's a pity that you used AI for art(

I think one small change that would make the drawing part a bit more fun is that if you mess up after one stroke it automatically clears the stroke instead of having to push a button. That would make it so people can keep trying in rapid succession and it would be less frustrating.

Having the circles be pentagons instead (straight lines) would also help in that regard, or maybe should be added as an "easy mode"

Having the items you have to place on the circle be on the table instead of hidden in a menu would be nice. Then the player could get more in the flow of drawing, placing the items and hitting done instead of interacting with menus all the time. Would have given it a more frantic feeling.

Both of those are very small changes though, and I think the idea you have is awesome. Being able to actually draw something and detecting that it is in the right spot and shape sounds like a programming nightmare to me haha!

Great job!

eye-catching graphics and a solid gameplay mechanic! Unfortunately it quickly got a little repetitive

Великолепная игра! крутая механика, веселый нарратив и забавные задания, я бы с удовольстием купила нечто подобное в доработанном виде. жаль что у вас не было художника, но все остальные аспекты игры на высочайшем уровне! спасибо за этот опыт

The drawing mechanic is great, and choosing ingredients is fun. I unfortunately did not understand why my rituals were failing on my first play, as I didn't know you could scroll the ingredients. Some guidance would have been very helpful. If I hadn't read another's comment about scrolling the ingredients, I would have given up. I'm glad I didn't though, it was quite fun when I realized I had more options! I played to the end, and enjoyed my experience.

@phlip45 Hi! Thank you for the feedback! I agree with you, but unfortunately we had no time to polish the gameplay

Great job with the art and music! The theme is right on too and I like how you have choices to make and conversations that have a short term impact. Some of the dialog choices also made me laugh hehe
As some have pointed out, I think its only missing a few guidance to be able to narrow down the ingredients necessary, especially the amount of each. For example with the healing potion, clearly I understood that I needed the flower for healing potion, but do I need 1,2,3 or 4 ? I suspect I need also other ingredients that are used for items summoning, but it leaves us to waste a large amount of precious time to trial and error the combinations.

Cool game! The dialogues and gameplay are quite original. The game has quite noticeable artifacts from neural network art, but otherwise, it's great work!

I very much liked the experience of drawing the lines - that part of the interaction felt really good, and I liked playing with it in particular.

The game was enjoyable. Summoning by drawing and placing ingredients was neat and thematically on point. It works with drawing tablet  First time I placed five of the same ingredients and it failed, but I figured it out pretty quickly, that it has to be all different, and sometimes a special ingredient is needed (like horse hair, cat's paw, etc.) Eventually I managed to reach day five with 110 gold and 17 reputation

It was a bit disappointing to get the same events couple of times in a row. Like summoning dead cat of the same name (well it was a bit funny), perhaps a list that depletes and then renews when reaches the end would ensure less chance of events randomly appearing twice?

What another things I would like to see, is to have easier access to my ingredients, somewhere on the bottom perhaps, because it was a chore to open the bag and scroll each time, especially when you have scroll all the way to the end to pick Malachite and Incense.

Overall a cool game! I left a decent score :peace:
