Ah I love almost all of this. Which really bothers me is that the background are pictures. You could have done without any background and keep the same art style. Which is AWESOME !! I really dig everything about the mood by the character designs the text the music. All of it. So graphics are score a tiny less than it could have. Very, very well made and it made me smile. My girlfriend was saying to me : are you playing a sex game just from that one image.. Again, thank you for making this. Well done.

Great graphics!

Having to figure out a combination that works to defeat the current foe is a fun challenge!
It's sad that so many combinations yield a generic ghost - but I understand that it'd be an immeasurable feat to design every single combination.

SPOILERS AHEAD:
is there anything beyond the void? Lucifer was said to be the last one, but I can still interact while in the void. Nothing appears to do anything tho.

@jsmcag Thanks! Yeah I though about differents monsters but it take a lot of time to do. If I'm not mistaken, there are 56 possible combinations.

Yes, you can beat the Void by using the invocation with no ingredients, then you reach the end of the game.

@mdotedot Thanks! Actually, I use pictures to to accentuate the progression inside the castle, but I'll make a note of it!

Interesting, I like the hand drawn art style. It's a bit slow in the transitions, but a good compo submission.

Very good visuals! And very nice jokes too :eyes:

The music was a bit loud though.

I really like the idea! Images looked good. Would have enjoyed some feedback on what parts we got wrong, rather than pure trial and error.

I like the idea and the first few levels were quite good, however after a short period of time it starts to become very trial-and-error.

Additionally, I'm not sure if it's a bug but I had to mute the audio after not very long, thanks to it seemingly peaking out constantly and making a horrible crackling sound the entire time.

The game's idea is interesting, with original mechanics that suggest more complex combo possibilities for a sequel. However, you'll need to be patient and have a good memory (or note) to reproduce the combinations you inadvertently find.
Well done!

- I enjoyed the art
- I was loosing my mind on the shadow, having 2 new ingredients and two slots I tried every 2 slot combination
- it would be nice to be able to delete if one accidentally selects an ingredient
- maybe you could empty the selection after we press invocation button to allow for faster retries
- maybe you could add extra hints if the player fails like 3-5 times, and make the animation faster with each fail

The Art and the audio of the game are pretty and fitting the vibe of the game. I appreciate the game design that the combinations to summon demons are intuitive and mostly don't require moon logic.

Nice fun game. Are the photos somewhere in real life that you took?

@shaneshanekavanagh Those are photos I found on Wikimedia Commons, they are copyright free. I put the sources on a text file with the game.

@fullsaphir Ah! Looks cool all the same. I was thinking you had an adventure around some old castle to collect images. I know an old castle near me that would be cool for this sort of thing, so I was getting ideas! Cheers.

Nice concept, I liked the images and the various references, although some of the puzzles could be quite hard.
