You are the Monster by divillysausages
You're happily passing your day in your underwear, when the classical damsel in distress comes screaming in, as there's a monster on the loose. This is the day you've been waiting for! Impress people! Win friends!
Kit yourself out as best you can with the money you have, and essay forth to slay the foul beast.
Be careful however, there are whispers of a curse abound...
------------------
HOW TO PLAY:
------------------
To kit yourself out, select your different weapons/armour in the shop section. As long as the total is under the amount of money you have, you're golden. You can equip one melee weapon, one ranged weapon, and an entire suit of armour. Melee weapons have a range of one tile, ranged two, while long bows are three.
In the world, click to move around. If you click on the monster and it's within the range of your ranged weapon, you'll attack it, otherwise you'll need to get up close and dirty. Take advantage of the terrain to deal maximum damage!
A word to the wise: remember your kit - sometimes it's a good idea to not make yourself *too* powerful...
------------------
NOTE:
------------------
Of course once the deadline was up, I realised that I didn't put a HP bar over either player (hey, I was tired), which makes it *slightly* challenging to see what's actually going on combat-wise. In the interests of LD purity (and of course, I was totally going for an immersive experience *cough*), I'll leave it until the voting's over, but just assume that big weapons = big damage. You get first strike, so make it count!

Nice idea tho.
I liked how I had to remember the previous build to be effective...
Really nice idea!
I love the inception!
Now ... should maybe have been a goal! (score... whatever)
Nice performance. :)
Kind of curious what this builds up to, if you manage to win several times in a row.
Great use of the theme! I like it!
