In Doodle Summoner you must Summon and assign your Units carefully, splitting them between Combat Slots and Production Slots.

INFO: The Game is lacking in Polish and Balance due to Time Constraints. It is for this Reason that it also doesn't have Animations or Sound. I'm aware of this Problem, but wanted to upload what i did manage to finish anyways. I'm geniunly not sure if the Game is currently beatable.

TUTORIAL: The Game plays in Turns, each Turn you can summon units by clicking on a free Slot on the Left-hand side. Summoning Units will cost you Resources. Your Units will also cost you an additional Upkeep Cost at the Start of a Turn. To Assign a unit simply left click on a summoned unit, and then on a free production or combat slot. At the End of Each Turn your units will fight the enemys. Each Surviving Enemy will cost you 1 Life. Run out of Lifes and thats it, if you manage to beat Wave 20 then you've won.

If at the Start of the Turn, you do not have enough Resources to pay all your Units, you must disable Units until you can afford their Upkeep. To do this simply click on a Unit on the Left Side of the Screen.

LEFT CLICK: Selecting Units and Assigning them to Slots

RIGHT CLICK: Closing the Shop, Cancelling Assignment. Hover over assigned Units to unassigned them from their Slot

Embedded game does not work. you should upload it to itch.io or something if you are using godot. does not really work well with the embed here.

I played the embedded version. I like the simplistic look but the stats were a bit overwhelming, maybe you could introduce them slowly or cut a few. Good idea and implementation.

Doodles were cute, it was a little hard to understand what was going on at first, but reading the tutorial and spending few minutes helped. Great job!

Great visuals and a good vibe, but I found the game itself very confusing.

I love the art style, the game could definitely do with some polish though,, the lack of a tutorial is the biggest issue, with a game as complex as this, took me a while to figure out what to do. Although once I figured it out I found it pretty engaging!

I really enjoyed the drawings of the little dudes! I couldn't figure out why I kept losing fights. I thought I placed enough guys on them, but without the enemy stats I couldn't figure it out quite.

I like the idea of having to get the materials for the summon with other summons but I feel that the tutorial is not detailed enough. It has potential, it just needs a little work to be a good game. Good job!

The doodles are cute! I couldn't quite figure out combat and would've loved both a better explanation of it in the tutorial and something that explains how the round went after each match to help me figure out if I don't understand something properly. Does position matter? I tried both the same position (e.g. bottom left for bottom left) and the mirrored position (top left for bottom left) but I didn't have enough information to go on to see what made a difference.
