It seems like a great game and I'd like to play more but unfortunately it's far too difficult for me. There's just too much going on. The cosmic bullets are really distracting and the ghost ships occasionally spawn near the top or bottom edge which gives no time to react before they shoot. I couldn't even reach 60 score. The art is amazing though and I really like the intro dialogue. It really sets the tone of the game.

too difficult for me. I think your game can have a great potential with a better balance of the difficulty. Maybe it's only a problem with velocity of player ship and bullets. Great MOOD

I personally love how hard it is. After dying in 5 seconds and realizing I would have to start from the beginning I felt like I had been challenged to a near impossible feat. Unfortunately, the way it kicks you back to the menu discouraged me from facing your challenge. I did try a few dozen times but rarely made it past 10 seconds.

I did enjoy the audio. Nice music and SFX, very fitting of the overall vibe. I like the graphics. Everything visual/audio was very cohesive.

I would love to play more of this after some minor updates. I have a few practical recommendations:
Make it so when the player loses it's as easy as possible to start up a new game that skips the intro. (like press space/click mouse to restart)

Also a little more friction would be fantastic, most the time I'm losing because there's only a few ways to dodge a hazard an it involves accelerating your ship to s speed that is guaranteed to send you flying into a different obstacle. I think granting the player a little more control would go a long way.

Overall, great job! I really like your game!

Great foundation for a game, but I feel there's a lack of polish in the right areas. To me, the acceleration for the ship is too high for a game in limited space. Also, all the bullets outside the shield makes it difficult to read what's going on outside your bubble. Plus only having one life makes the game very punishing (not to mention getting booted back to the loading screen). There is a lot to like tho, the overall movement and shooting feels great, and I love the art style and characters you created. Great job :)

I really love the aesthetics and mechanics, but the ship speed is WAY too fast. I'm slippin' and slidin' every which way. It makes this otherwise great game.

The art and sounds are super good. Really make the game feel premium if that makes sense. I feel like this had a lot of potential but was let down a bit by the visual clarity of what's going on. Firstly it seemed to be locked to a tiny window which was super small on my 4k screen, but on top of that, the lasers made it super hard to see anything. I found that I would lose track of stars, enemy attacks and even my own ship at times trying to focus on finding where the next enemy was. It unfortunately really got in the way of me enjoying the game.

I could definitely see a lot of potential regardless, with some small tweaks to make the game a bit more readable you could have a really solid bullet hell.

I love the art and style, but I'm not much of a twitchy game player. I tried a bunch of times but didn't last more than about 5 seconds.

The concept is really interesting, but the screen lacks legibility, and the movements are a little too punishing, so you quickly get out of the zone without really understanding at first (or maybe it's just me, that's not impossible!). Otherwise, the gameplay is really nice, it's got potential!

Good game.
With this difficulty, insrtant restart button would be handy.

With better balance it could be great. Right now I feel that it is escalating too quickly.
Boolets ships, and stars are too quick.
I feel like ship controlls are too sensitive.

Also, Nice art and cutscenes! I don't often see games with cutscenes on jams.

Good game. Great graphics, music and SFX. The player controls are too sensitive. On one hand, it creates a tough challenge, but on the other hand, there is no difficulty curve to become familiar with ship controls.
