I don't think it's playable. I click on the upgrades, but nothing happens. I do love the art tho~

I like the idea. It does look unfinished in places, but that can be forgiven as it's a jam game. I was bashing all the other robots until I got to a point where my robot stopped dealing damage altogether. It was impossible to progress after that. Nice fun game. Good stuff :8ball:

Art is good, but some UI issues to fix. Also there seems to be some bugs, when the bot dies, the scene doesn't update. Love the idea of turn-based fighting tho.

@HandsomeShan @oddballdave @sparkleypie hey, thank you for playing! I am sorry for the... difficult experience so far, the web build on itch.io should now be a lot more playable after some fixes. It still only works in fullscreen and there still may be some UI problems, but the UI should no longer be completely broken - I hope.

I was unable to progress any further after reaching rating 7 and facing the kitty enemy, which is considerably stronger than the previous fights, and I couldn't figure out any other way to gain scrap and upgrade my robot. But it is a cool game regardless! The way you upgrade your robot kinda reminded me of a game I used to play many years ago called MechQuest.

In WebGL I could play well maximizing the screen. The idea is good, but it probably went out of scope and you miss more feedback to understand what you are doing. Good job anyway!

The UI problems may be fixed if you rearrange the canvas setting, adjusting "canvas scaler"-"UI scaler mode" to "scale with screen size" in Unity.I met the same question lol, hope this also works for you.

Good game! Tried Web build as well but I think there seems to be UI resolution issue there.

@egggrass Thanks for the tip, this was part of my error! I managed to fix (most) of the problems now and will most likely leave it at that, you helped me speed up the bug hunt :)

@johntronco Thanks a lot for playing, you are right that it is much stronger that the rest, but it should still be beatable. At least if you got to get some upgrades... which was not really possible due to a small bug which did not give you scrap for losses and items not being rolled correctly, making it so that you could not upgrade your core due to too few upgrades being available. Thanks for pointing these things out to me, they should be fixed now :)

@hiding-dev You're absolutely right, there are still some things that do not scale correctly entirely. I had to experiment a bit and a UI-only game is a bit out of my comfort zone, so some things like the tooltips will just remain slightly broken, sorry

@reed-molbak I am really sorry that it did not work for you! Maybe the new build which fixes some things does the job, but thanks a lot for trying to play anyways :)

@neowedge Absolutely, polishing and adding feedback certainly was a step that was skipped due to the classic overscoping problem. Thanks a lot for trying the game anyways :)

I definitely missed something. I also became lazy without wanting to try to understand. I clicked on things but didn't understand how to play. I know I could spend some time trying to understand, but everything seemed a bit confusing. I didn't see any sounds. I think I'm a bit slow when it comes to this type of game, I tend to like to start doing something and understand it as I go along. In this case, I would need to understand everything first, I didn't have the patience at that point. But I think the problem was me.
