"True Monster"

All in game - black humor. Nothing seriously.

I used PlayN (http://playn.io/) java framework for implement all OpenGL, Sound and input stuff.
Graphics is created in fantastic Aseprite pixelart tool (http://www.aseprite.org/).
Great soundtrack from Sindal.

I saw here more, like procedural map generation, doctors ai and nice animations. But I had not time. Isometric physics from scratch took more time...

>>> How to play: moving via arrows and 'z' key for attack. After gameover you can push 'ESQ' key and try again.

>>> Requirements: Installed Java 8, 256M RAM, OpenGL 2.0, available keys:UP,LEFT,RIGHT,DOWN,Z

>>> NOTE: download links are links to archive with executable jar. Just extract and double click on it.

I laughed my eyes out at the premise. Really funny. Hopefully it was meant to be funny.

I really couldn't get much better than 22 kills on my four tries. Maybe I'm just bad at games. :)

I liked the overall feel of the game. The moving could've been a little more smoother maybe.

All in all a nice and funny entry to the ludum dare.

Yay Java!

I actually really liked how simple this was. I played until I ran out of time because I wanted a high score. Its interesting how simple mechanics can be. In a world where game design is getting more complicated, playing this might allow me to step back and rethink what is really important in a game.

actually, i killed about ~140 doctors and didn't find my wife :D
my highscore is 25, the hardest part is controls
anyway, game give to me a fun, and this is important! ;)

It was a bit hard to control, and the 30s limit is a bit short. I liked the graphics and the base concept. Good entry :)

Not a bad game. I didn't do very well at it. It kind of felt like the whole thing was on ice. Very much a classic style game. Feels like something I would have played in the '90's, in a good way!

Game felt jerky to play and very, very hard (or I'm bad at it). Good premise.

Controls were very odd, and mouse didn't appear on the screen, so I had to use touch to press start. Also, there was no restart button. nice idea, not very well executed.

So many doctors in that hospital, all the better for my righteous rage! Controls were a little tricky, but nice work overall!

Didn't quite feel character's rage, and knocking down some non-interactive dummies without any additional gameplay doesn't seem fun.

Maybe it's just not what I'm used to, but the isometric movement feels weird. No biggy though, as simple as it is, it's actually kinda fun to play. Nice work, haha.

I like the game even if the time ended very quickly. I am working my self on a isometric game and know how hard the physics can be, especially sliding up and down walls, Its impressive how much was accompliced in such a short time.
