Eerie, claustrophobic, (gory textures), spooky game based on the limited space theme. The characters are kinda cute though; This mixes the horror elements of this game to the aesthetically pleasing designs of the characters. Our game has a labyrinth built in across the rooms.screenshotab.jpgscreenshot2.pngscreenshot3.pngabartwork.png

Simple and cool concept. Maybe can work more on the feedback of the attack and the appearance of horror and limitted space. Btw the portal of the second stage doesn't seem to work:(

A cool idea that feel likes it could've gone farther if the game was "flesh"ed out properly. I think the movement speed was tuned well, but the enemies not accomplishing anything and the lack of a goal made it difficult to find what I wanted to do. I like the base concept a lot, and think a lot of cool ideas could be born. Keep working strong! :)

Waggling your sword around with the mouse is definitely a fun idea. Good atmosphere. Could definitely do with some refinement of the core gameplay, I don't think the enemies actually damage the player.

Nice graphics and interesting theme usage.

The mechanics here is very fluid.

Congrats!

I like the sprites and character designs. I do wish the music was a little louder because the atmosphere and sounds are pretty cool. Good job!

Solid foundation! I liked the visuals and the dark mood. I also couldn't exit the second room so that's when I stopped playing.
Would've loved to see some attack feedback like damage particles on the enemies, and the sound for the attack was really loud. Thinking about it, you could actually do without any attack button, just have the weapon always be damaging and the challenge is to swing it in the right direction.

very basic gameplay, the environment seemed interesting but the player and enemy sprites are just reskinned pokemon sprites :sob: :sob:
the swing sound has "audio jungle" after it and has no swing cooldown if you hold it down...
not the best thing ever sadly :sob:

nice simple game, though I had to turn down the volume in a volume manager as the swing became very annoying xD Good Work!

Nice game, but the sword swing sound was very irritating. Good job tho :D:D:D:D:D I liked the gory, textures but kinda the character sprite doesn't go with the whole game aesthetics :D:D:D:D

Nice game, I couldn't go through the second portal unfortunately.
I liked how the squishy walk sound fitted the tiles.

Well, firstly thank you for your job! I think it`s a nice start for the game!
There some bugs:
1. At some point the sword stop moving. It kills but no movement.
2. One black hole doesn`t transport.
Amount of steps sounds too harsh) It gave me atmosphere (mmm sounds of steps on blood and meat >:)) but too many
And also: no score, no purpose)
Good luck with your project!

I'm not a huge fan of body horror/creepy stuff, and the audio kinda freaked me out, so good job on that, definitely seems like you're hitting the right tone for your target audience!

Gameplay wise second portal seemed broken (unless I missed something?), enemies didn't really seem to do anything, and you could just hold down the sword attack button to rapid attack which was both really effective at clearing enemies and also really loud.

I liked the idea of the game, a maze with monsters always goes well. However, I think the character should be more compatible, it's strange to see a Pokemon-style character fighting with others in a more monstrous style. It would also be cool if there was an animation for either the sword or the monster when it was attacked. The disturbing music went well with the atmosphere too. Lastly, it would be a good story, a reason for your character to be there, this creates more connection with the player. Even so, I understand that 3 days is a very short time and it ends up that you can't do everything lol, congratulations.

The game had a very eerie felling, and i kind of liked that. I wish there was more of an incentive to fight the monsters, since they don't give or drop anything and you can easily just walk around them. Either way, nice job!

The game is broken, but looks good. Enemies don't deal damage, so there's no point. There's no hitting animation, and you can just hold the mouse button and erase everybody. Meanwhile, you get earraped but the sword and step sounds. The visuals are nice, and the mechanics are a beginning to something, the audio is unpleasant. Still I think there is potential.

The gloomy visuals are nice! Mood was set. The gameplay itself was very straightforward (and holding mouse down made the sword into a lightsaber, so that made enemies a bit easy)

Can iterate on more - interesting base!

moodliscious. It's so grody, but i guess that's the idea, right? Trapped inside something. I was really eager to know what we were inside of and where it was going to go.

A cute attempt at creating organic-flesh-horror levels; the textures and sounds are fitting.

The gameplay is fairly basic, but if you add health points, this prototype could very well serve as a foundation for a survival horror game.

Sounds and music create the atmosphere well. It would be cool to add sword animation.

As others have said, I think the main thing missing is some feedback on the attack (an animation, some particles) and on hit. The doors were a bit too hard to spot as well but the main character sprite is pretty good and well animated. Keep up the good work!

I was able to keep continually swinging my sword by holding down the button, while funny it was quite loud! I liked the sprites of the environment, and they were definitely creepy enough to make me scared (if the sword swing wasn't killing me inside). Nice entry.

Good character control, nice graphics and sound. Could do with more feedback (slash animation, indicating knockback vs. damage, etc.), and there doesn't appear to be a win condition (maybe I missed it). Good effort.

Nice game, but I couldn't finish the second labyrinth as I got stuck and none of the ruptures (black holes) allowed me to leave.

Sword could use some animation when you're using it.
It was unclear to me at first that I had to hold button to actually deal any good damage.

Well done! Hope you update it later.

Idea is cool but realisation is bad. Enemies should attack the main character but they are don't. No health bar and difficult 'cause enemies just constantly moving to you but don't attack. There is also a problem with transitions between levels. After one transition, you can't do it again.

Nice game! There was not enough visual feedback for me when character attack and hits enemy. Graphics is cute.

This needs some work. I think most of the others covered the bugs, and it's hard to play with sound bugs and such going on. The graphics are cool, and when it's not stacking the sounds the audio work does match very well with the visuals. I wish there was a bit more help or feedback for hits/damage (was there any player damage?) or goal completion. A guiding arrow or better enemy logic would help greatly if you expand it. I'd love to see the enemies placed to lead the player down intended paths instead of just scattered about and collecting into a mob. I still don't know if my goal was to clear all the enemies or just wander through the portals.

I do hope your team updates this post jam, I liked what little of the idea made the jam cut.

Visually, the game had a cool and spooky vibe that I enjoyed. A backstory could have added more depth. Character movement felt appropriately swift. Adding visual feedback for attacks would enhance the experience. I had trouble understanding the attack mechanism; it seemed to be triggered by pressing the mouse button down, which created an annoying attack sound, maybe a swipe attack would have worked better. Overall, a promising concept to explore further. Well done!
