One Step Further by justking144

Sisyphus, once a great king who cheated Death itself, has been forever bound to a mountain, forced to repeat his endeavor endlessly. He must endlessly roll a boulder up a mountain, only for it to fall time and time again, but he does not despair. He does not give in. Rather, he devotes each day to pushing himself a bit further towards the limit of his space.
Click when instructed to accelerate your speed and aim for the mountain's summit.

*SPOILER*
might have been cool if there was more interactivity to trick the player into thinking they can win
@2thegamechanger clicking speeds you up and after each reset, clicking increases speed by a larger chunk. I originally had plans to make the speed slow down as you approached the top, requiring more and more clicks but I never got around to this
There isn't much gameplay however, it's basically a rhythm game in which you press a button every 4 seconds lol, but the game is rather short so that's not much of the problem, since the focus is clearly on the story telling and on the deception of the player's expectations.
Maybe try to improve the clicking mechanic, like make it go faster and faster as Sisyphus goes faster ?
One must imagine Sisyphus happy...
