I really like this writing! Graphics were great too. Awesome way to make something within the constraints of 48h. Ultimately, this unconventional viewpoint works well for a game that seems to examine the allure of the fragment, whether a fraction of a sentence removed from its context by ellipses or a shard of glass fused into a stained-glass window. My instinct, as a player, was to attempt to fuse these textual fragments into a cohesive narrative, but ultimately, like the game's stained-glass windows, any cohesion was brittle and easily fractured by the slightest touch."},{"author_name":"Pierrec","author_uid":"1874","time":"Sep 11, 2015 @ 7:31am","epoch":1441956360,"text":"Controls aren't very smooth, but the idea is great, and I kinda felt bad"}],"images":["ld33\/38813-4e444608b6b6569dee90f71b75983398.jpg","ld33\/38813-59a0ab9fc3c27d55601f089bf3d6d18f.jpg"],"links":[{"url":"https:\/\/achesnais.github.io\/LD33\/index.html","text":"Web"},{"url":"https:\/\/github.com\/achesnais\/LD33","text":"Source"},{"url":"http:\/\/jackdegree.itch.io\/too-late-too-bitter","text":"Post-compo"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"9225","g_author":"38813","g_event":"LD33","g_eventkey":"29","g_subevent":"COMPO","g_urlkey":"9258","g_title":"Too Late, Too Bitter","g_status":"UCHK1","g_place":"669","g_commentcount":"27","g_site2_node_id":"0","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":[],"node":null,"orig_images":["http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/479518\/38813-shot0-1440364155.png-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/479518\/38813-shot1-1440364155.png-eq-900-500.jpg"],"text":"e: interact\/progress in dialogue\r\nenter (when available): action\r\n\r\nArrow keys for movement\r\n\r\nMy objective was to make\r\n1) a 2d game \r\n2) a game which would successfully blend good quality art and good quality writing.\r\n\r\n1) is done.
