thumbnail.png You're Hank, the nice bus driver.

School's out and you've got to bring all the kids to their houses. Sadly your bus has limited space :scream:

I really like the idea, but I don't quite get the end goal of the game, it seems it never ends, is that a bug?

I love the way you make the kids move to the bus, it feels like Hank is in a zombie movie or something lmao. I do like the concept as well, it's simple and you even provide multiple ways to play. And of course the voice actor gave the performance of a lifetime with the doors opening and closing sounds.

Like Majo said there's no win or loss condition, which is a bit unfortunate as there's no stakes. Maybe after 3 mistakes you see a screen that says "Hank got fired" with the option to try again? Or after 20 turns without failing 3 times "Hank has retired after a long and successful career". I think it would instantly make the game feel a bit more complete.

Like the concept of the game, I don't think the scoring was working for me. Like the graphics and enjoyed your sound effects

Every jam has that one "unforgettable game" and for this jam it's this one. What a delight. COME ON, INNNNNNNNNNNNN

Seriously, the way the kids just swarm your bus like flies on rotting salami. I love it. I'm obsessed

I love smashing the "drive away" button and just careening down the street

@scottgamer28 @shmi @cheesepencil Thank you for playing and your feedback :)

@majomirez @zlatking Thanks for your feedback. The game has no ending. Great idea of the different endings. We definitely should have done that.

@poboy We're happy you like the game so much :D

By pressing space you won't get a result message. And you can spam mouse click on doors button to skip everything but not a space on keyboard. Small little chaotic game.

@kro Thanks for your feedback. It's a bug that the results aren't shown on pressing space. You can skip the bus stops, but why would you? :P

These children are wild. Great entry, as others have mentioned starting off with space bar didn't give the results but after clicking the icon once it started giving me the feedback for how many children I upset. Overall nice work!

very good and funny simulator of public transport :D

This is so morbidly funny the way the bus driver pulls up and there's a swarm of kids just headbutting into the front of the bus HAHAHAHHAHA. and it's honestly terrifying how they just crowd up around you like zombies like the other comment said lol. It was a little bit hard to grasp the goal and the win condition, and the ai pathing could be adjusted to avoid all the visual cluttering on the left. I think with a bit more guidance and clearer win condition this could make a really fun game about counting and reaction speed. I rate it 5/5 on humor and it's nice take on the theme!

The game is so funny, I love how there are kids just swarming all in the bus, the when you drive off they all get thrown to the back of the bus LOLL

I don't think there's a working scoring system for me? I'm not sure if it's neverendering, but nevertheless, such a great game haha

what a manic game lol. from the soundtrack to the hordes of children smashing against the exterior of the bus... there's no real score or way to know how you're doing tho? the game needs penalties or a tally or something, even a game over state instead of being perpetual. I ended up just kind of arbitrarily opening and closing the doors whenever i wanted to hear the voice acting lol. I feel like counting as a game mechanism is pretty cruel and this crazy yet simple setting y'all constructed has much more potential! a solid humor candidate if there was more to interact and affect in the gameplay - great work!

I like the concept, but yeah, I don't really see any result. It also wasn't clear if the number of seats was also supposed to be the number of kids or if there were multiple to a seat. Typically there would be 2 to a seat.

Kids nowadays have no manners at all! The idea was funny and I liked it, but I felt like it was a little bit less interactive that what I would prefer. The graphics, the music and the sound effects were really yo the point and the design was wonderful! Good job my friends! Keep up!

@janinna21 Yes, you have to estimate how many pupils got in the bus and if it's the correct amount (shown in the right) close the doors.

@caibearz @don-fouts @ynnon @frib @helloimbenjamin @skylife @deadbydeath Thanks for playing and your feedback :)

@okshirl The pupils movement also reminded us of zombies :D That's why we also let them walk in the left side of the bus.

@pichiiparu @ruddiculous @game-dev-with-michael The game has no ending. When you click on the close button, a score for this round will be shown. The shown seat symbol refers to one pupil.

The game is interesting, it was quite nice to play it, keep working on it and everything will be cool

I think the game would benefit having a better way to display how many seats each bus have other than a text message, maybe different bus graphics? In any case, with its simple interaction and no end goal, it was still very entertaining to watch the zombie-like people mindlessly swarming the streets trying to get on the bus. Great job!

Scandalous! I had a capacity of 3, had 3 pupils inside, and the message said I left kids waiting despite having empty seats! :( But very funny game, love the hectic energy of the swarm of children. Would of course be nice to have a goal or something and have the game end after n busses and get a score or so. But it's a great and very entertaining start. :)

Also, as has been mentioned, it seemed very pointless at first when I used space as this didn't yield any feedback - but after reading here that this is different when clicking the button with the mouse, I switched to that strategy and that worked. :D

@egormnc @damp-squib Thanks for playing and your feedback! Variations of the bus are a good idea to display the different amounts of seats.

@very-dark-lord I'm so sorry! Sometimes the counting is wrong because a pupil slips into the bus while driving away. You totally did a great job! Normally you would have heard a horn.
