* *💪Play as a beach lifeguard! Unruly tourists are always trying to get out of the prescribed safety zone, and you need to get them all back...even with the use of weapons! Left Mouse Button - Move Enter/Space - Dialog E - Catch the tourists 1, 2, 3-Different weapons to deal with swim rings, surfboards and banana boats!

This is my first time participating in Ludum Dare 🥰 I hope this game looks kinda cute!

It's called Beach Time, but there's only water in the game because I couldn't think of a good name for it!

well, it’s not bad at all, the idea is certainly not new, but the cartoon graphics and sounds were a pleasant surprise!

Adorable art style! I had a hard time internalizing which of 1,2,3 destroyed what type of swimmer's stuff but maybe that is just a me problem haha

Love the art style, trying to do this one properly was like herding cats, for real XD. Cheese has never felt so good :).
I went through a few days, there isn't an end it seems? Nice work on this though, very cute.

Enjoy the overall vibe and reminded me of those web games I played during childhood. The cartoon drawing figures are ice on top. I played it for a few times and suddenly realized I could not really go to next level（LOL）.

Cute graphics and idea! Took a bit to figure out the weapons but you just have to try them all to figure out which goes with which. Not sure if there is any progression, difficulty didn't seem to change much from day to day so I assume it's all the same. In fact it seemed pretty hard to "lose" even if I did nothing :sweat_smile:. I pretty much had to drag people away from safty for that (and don't think I didn't try :smiling_imp:). Congrats on your first LD!

Extremely charming graphics, I found the logic behind the weapons to be a little bizzare but that honestly just added to the charm

It's sooooo cute and its pretty cool (even cooler for your first Ludum) :D
I take some time to figure out which weapon is effective against tourist, but the game is great ;D

the art is so cute and the sfx makes it really funny haha. one tip for the artist - instead of colouring the water blue underneath the character sprite, if it was transparent it wouldn't clip with the ocean/buoys
