Forget-Me-Not by Nyla J

[raw]
made by Nyla J for Ludum Dare 54 (JAM)

An old woman with Alzheimer's is trapped in a coma. As the player, we play through the old woman's minds as her mind's capabilities grow weaker and weaker. We go through the rooms of her memories and help her piece together her mismatched memories. The goal of the game is to reach the final room, where she finally remembers her granddaughter.

We are interpreting limited space as limited space in her memory.

I am a bit confused if I understood the point of the game correctly. I really liked the premises, but it seemed quite short. I did enjoy how everything was pretty off, and kind of foggy. I believe you brought the point home very well with that.

I loved the premises of your interepretation, but I was a little confused about how you wanted to pack them up. The minigames are nice, but fast and without without feedbacks. I felt no sense of losing something, which seemed central at first.

Nonetheless I experienced no bugs and the game was fluid, so I'm sure you'll do better and better
