They do try to attack when you are close to the darkness, them opportunists! Glad you found a way to beat them :-)

Played through to the end, it was fun!

The visual design is awesome, I love all the pixel-3D effects. The text was sometimes hard to read because of aliasing during movement. It might help to keep the text from growing / shrinking with the character / scene.

Had to give you a 5 star in every category. I really loved how you implemented a progression system that was very understandable. I managed to beat the last level by bouncing off those slow triangles in the middle, and the enemies threw themselves into outer space ahah. You did a great job of introducing mechanics one by one and everything was really good. The music was ok until I heard the drop into drum and bass, and that was so epic. Very well done!

It's hard to play this game with my touchpad, so I had to grab my mouse. :)

The music is surprisingly good for a compo game.

I managed to "win" (?) the first level before I could read the tutorial because the figures moved outside of the screen. This made me confused so I had to restart the game.

After I got used to it though, along with my mouse connected, I was able to get some fun.

The moving tutorials was a bad choice 😆
I like having in game tutorials, but the pixelation and movement really bombed it this time!

The pixelisation and low colour depth combine to make a really neat, grungy aesthetic. And the abstract "vwoops" are are neat, and manage to avoid sounding grating. About my only issue with it is that, in most levels, it's usually just a case of waiting for the light to shrink down enough that your opponents actually start taking damage.

wonderful game across the board. only complaints were that i kinda wish things got bumped a little harder in general, sometimes just felt funny directly butting heads with another over and over. And the screen turned red at some point and never went away, I assume it was a bug but if intentional then I don't know what it meant :)

This game is lots of fun ! It get trickier with time, but with enough tries, you get better at it.
Graphics and music also feel great !
Very nice little entry overall. GG.

This was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed the bouncy pillars, purely because of the chaos that ensues from them. The art-style/graphics was really cool too.

I personally would have liked the beginning to have started from a standstill, instead of jumping straight into Level 1. I got a little overwhelmed trying to figure out what to do, and I also missed the tutorial text, so I ended up having to restart in order to properly learn the game.

Would be nice to also have a fullscreen mode too, since I accidentally went out of focus sometimes and got stuck in the charge state.

Really nice game! I loved the graphics & sound, gave it a very cool vibe. The gameplay was great too - it was pretty chaotic and unpredictable, but in a fun way. I really appreciated the chance to change my upgrades on loss - it was a really unique way to teach the importance of various upgrades: for example, I got stuck in the last level for quite a few tries, until I tried switching my Speed upgrade with a Defense one, which promptly led me to win (I didn't really get the point of defense until then). I did enjoy the levels with the moving light spot more than the stationary ones - mostly because it led to more chaos - but those were also easier, due to the not very smart AI. It took me two levels to realize how to equip upgrades (I kept trying to click on things instead of dragging them), so maybe a tutorial there would've helped, but otherwise, awesome entry!
