I absolutely love horror games and this was really well made! The audio was a really nice touch with the speaking, it made it really unsettling. I personally don't like maze games but this was really well made and I'm glad I gave it a chance, the only thing I have to say is it's really difficult to find the end door once all the pages are collected, I spent a lot of extra time to try to find the door but I had to give up because I just couldn't find it, but other than that this was a good entry!

The sound effects and ambience was a good touch, as well as the dark colours of the maze and creature. The first maze felt very large - spent ages trying to find the last page on my first run, only to be unavoidably gobbled up! XD
Good work :P.

The first level was too big with all the graphics looking the same. Since there are no way to orient yourself other than drawing a map, it felt like it was just luck to find the pages, and not running into the monster. So I personally didn't find the game interesting or engaging. The single sound for foot steps felt off but it kinda raise the mood a bit after a while. I know it's common with horror games but the very loud sound of the monster is more annoying than scary.

Thumbs up for the combination of simple graphics and music it had the right atmosphere.
Unfortunately I didn't last too long playing. I have missed some form of hint which way to look for each page, the ability to at least initially escape or avoid the monster. So it quickly got away from the cycle of trial and error and trying to memorise each level.
A know it's hard to keep a critical distance from your own creation, and it helps a lot to snag the first person uninvolved in the project and put them in front of the monitor as a play tester.

However, the creation I was involved in suffers from the exact same problem, even by my fault.

Man this cute lil' thing is scary. Actually a fun game. It's tense, and it was scary the first time the monster chased me. Good job.

The game was pretty rough. I didn't get past the first level. Finding the pages was relatively easy, but finding the exit? Brutal!

Maybe an indicator for the exit would've been nice, or just a smaller level in general.

I also noticed that as soon as the monster was near me, i was dead. There was no opportunity to avoid the monster or escape :(

I think you did a great job with the graphics and audio design. Unfortunately, the maze was just far too big with zero clues for finding the exit so I just spent ages wandering around. With some exit-finding mechanics or visual indicators this would have been a great horror game.

This game is really scary, atmosphere is 10/10, first time when I saw the monster, I am very scared and wanted to leave this game, but I tried to control myself and play the game despite the fear and I completed 4 levels and leave :D Good job!

I'm interested in how many horror games popped up this jam, and this was a great addition to the list for me. I think the chosen mechanics could have been slightly more interesting (it's the classic Slenderman setup, right down to the notes), but it's still a well made and tense entry. Well done.

The jump scare of getting caught by the monster completely caught me off guard and scared me, making this game a success in my opinion . That said, I never managed to find the first gate despite finding the pages quite quickly. I'm not sure how the player is expected to search in a more efficient manner than all possible paths. Would be curious to know if there's a strategy to it?

An interesting idea I just thought of to enhance the fear factor of the game: Don't show the monster in the screenshot! Maybe just a silhouette. Nothing is scarier than the unknown.
