A simple and lovely take on the theme, I guess space isn't expanding after all. Everything you've done here feels intentional. The scope is small but that allowed for every aspect of it to be perfected. Lovely entry, girlfriends.

Perfectly scoped and controls feel great. Nice job!

this is a great one! i actually thought of something alike to this when the theme first got announced, but unlike me, you have got great talent for making things POLISHED . the ship movement animations (tweens? kinda) are SUPER smooth and the feedback for hitting things and getting hit were spot on . really good side-shooter (forgot the genre name)

my only complaint: i only realized that the arena was shrinking about 4 stages in because of the bars being the same color as, well, space . the white dots not being there didn't click in my brain, and i think a tad more visual indication would have helped with that ? or i'm just blind, could definitely be that lolol

great game big fan

@imontheweb Thank you, that means a lot to me! And you're totally right that there should be a clearer visual indicator of the arena shrinking ^_^;

I like it. The theme mechanic was neat, although as others mentioned, definitely needs clearer indication that it's happening. My one other complaint was that when you hit an enemy that can take more hits (I think?) it feels and looks like your shots are disappearing just before hitting them. Some kind of indication that they're getting hit, or how much health they have left, would help a lot.

Short and sweet! It was a pleasant experience. I would've probably chosen a different color for the walls that close in around you, since it was hard to tell the difference between that and the space background, but i got the gist :) Good stuff!

Nice and old school shmup, with a small twist, liked it. The artwork is nice and controls are smooth. Adding more impact on hits would make combat more engaging.

Neat! I like the graphics, both retro but also fairly detailed. The biggest recommendation I would have is to add more feedback to the player's shots. For awhile, I thought my shots weren't connecting because they would disappear. So I thought it was buggy but then I realize it was because the enemies had health. Even something as simple as having the enemies flash would go a long way with that. But otherwise, really competent space shooter and it hit the right vibes!

Very retro styled graphics and easy to pick up and play. Movement is very fluid. I only got to 8100 pts, but was hoping for an upgrade drop. For different attack types for ships, it would be great to hear a pitch difference when a different attack is done (like the ships that shoot 3 at a time). Well done. :)

nice reference to the older games! My thoughts will be more on the audio I think music could have helped make the game more polish and more fun to play. Also although a bit more advance but doing little eidts to the audio so it sounds slightly differnee would def to remove ear fatigue

Kind of missing the theme it self. But all around fun game

The one thing I would change is the visualization of the space collapsing. Like, the space is black, so are the game borders. The only visual difference is the lack of stars. I played more or less in the center and didn't get for a while how the game was connected to the theme.

Appart from that it's a nice game, I really liked the controlls.

Good game, which is certainly not very original or in the theme but which remains fun

It might be nice to have the normal background and dead space from shrinkage be more visually different from each other so it is more obvious how much the space has shrunk.

I found the game incredibly captivating. The concept is truly impressive. Keep up the excellent work, and you'll undoubtedly reach a high level of professionalism

The movement and attack of the spaceship feel very natural, but sometimes my bullets seem to not travel far when moving, which forces me to stop to attack.
