東京メトロ 「tokyo metro」 by Ben Heil
Tokyo Metro
I took the theme maybe too literally and made a game in a 240 x 160 viewport.
You are Ichi, a young man riding home on the Shinjuku line when suddenly you're attacked by (surprisingly rhythmic) monsters. Can you punch and kick your way home or will the night dance you away?
This is a short rhythm game implemented in Godot 4.1.1.
I created the art assets during the jam using a pixel art editor for iPad called Pixaki. The music and sound effects I created during the jam with a collection of teenage engineering pocket operator synths and Cubase artist.
All code for the game was written by me during the jam and the only asset I installed externally was a pixel art font from FFF.
Controls
W or Left Action to punch D or Right Action to kick
Kill Monsters, Get Steez No Steez? Game Over

While this one stays basic in its gameplay I really liked the art style and the music!
It definitely has a vibe :D
It freezes here to at some points. But regardless it seems to have a nice vibe going and gameplay from what I got the vibe of after over a few reloads.
GG, would like to try again when the freeze issue is solved :D
