Here's some gameplay footage of me playing (badly):

I had fun on this one, it reminded me of a game I used to play as a child called Icy Tower :) Took me a while to figure out that you can smash blocks when you have enough power. That's a really cool feature.
The graphics and music were nice. I like the "bonk" sound when you get hit on the head with a block, hehe. The bats were too mean tho :(
Not quite sure if there is a grace period after you leave a platform, when you can still jump, but I feel like there isn't and it would probably help the gameplay quite a lot. I think it's sometimes called "Coyote Time", because of Wiley Coyote hovering in the air over a cliff? Anyways, if there is a grace period, I'm sorry.
Overall I really enjoyed playing this game and it is something I can see myself coming back to. Really nice effort on this jam - I hope you had a great time, too. Maybe give my game a try, if you like.
Controls were a bit hard to get used to, mostly because of high horisontal momentum after wall jumping and low frequency, like I was on ice.
Well done, I think the game is fun)
The game gets much more interesting later on when blocks start coming faster, but the early game is frankly miserable, avoiding bats is basically pure luck and missing a platform drops you down way too far.
Falling a significant distance is also extremely irritating as the character fully goes off screen becoming essentially uncontrollable.
Once you get past about halfway the pace picks up enough that I'm able to combo through blocks and go a bit faster, but at that point mashing space becomes pretty optimal strategy which is also a problem, but at least it's pretty fun at that point.
I think more air control, more blocks earlier on, removing the birds entirely and tweaking the player movement/block sizes to make platforming feel more solid (i found myself constantly missing jumps by tiny amounts or bonking my head and losing all my progress)
Overall the concept is pretty neat and the visuals + sounds work nicely, but the frustrating early game sections make it harder to appreciate them.
It starts off slow, I was about to review before I seen other comments talking about there high score.
I gave it another couple of shots until I got in to the groove and it gets much more fun when more blocks start coming in.
Great little game and feels quite polished.
There is no top even if there is a progress bar on the left, I've been betrayed...
Still, very fun
Ps. (The combos are so satisfying)
