EDIT: And just I was typing this, it was released! Playing right now!
As many of the choises will have bad concequences (that is kind of the point of the game), at some point I started feeling that there were actually no decisions to make. I just felt like clicking through menus and no matter what I chose, the end result was bad.
But what the game succeeded at was creating this very grim and hopeless mood. Maybe sometimes the gameplay does not have to be that interesting - if the experience is. I think this game falls into that kind of category.
Thanks for the solid entry!
the music and the sound of the sea is mesmerising, very nice touch.
also liked the graphics, very nice work!
One thing I was confused about was the hunger and water bar. I thought when the meter was full it meant that the crewmates were good on food/water.
Some choices were very difficult to make, I lost Jim right before being rescued :(
Great game though :)
Great job!!!
At some points I felt like I was losing track of everyone's status only to find that they were already dying (woops). Especially near the end I also got the impression that there weren't many choices to make and as I had no way of regaining food or water I kind of resigned myself. Though in a way that's not too unlike what it might be like for the player character as well. I liked that the items you choose in the beginning shape the actions you can take later on, and the little conversations!
I really enjoyed reading the consequences of my choices :)
Congrats for this amazing game^^
