Vessel Run by freamdev
Your mission is to transport cargo from one undescriptive part of space to another through multiple asteroid fields, carefully balancing your ship's power supply between your engines and your shields. Unfortunately for you, you attended the Malcolm Reynolds School of Captaining and purchased a ship with only enough module slots for a few essential components. So, you need to decide whether you want to reach your destination in one piece or risk slowing down and getting dismantled by your employer.
To my dismay, I personally followed the same path as our ship captain and ended up having to cut many corners on the project. For example, the navigation minigame, sounds, main menu, tutorial, and playtesting were all left out. Consequently, it turned out to be quite barebones. I hope some of you will still find enjoyment in it. :)
Edit: Failed to make the LD site work along with unity, will look into it once I had enough sleep, so probably in a few weeks
Edit2: Could not figure out what is wrong with the release and the LD site so I just removed the embed version.

I want to try this game, but can't.
@nick-rafalski Happy you like the ship! Modelling it was the most I learned in this project
- Idea with balancing resources and swapping them is interesting, but it is hard to quickly react to asteroids, when you need to remove module and add other module (also, looks like one shield is enough to sustain meteor damage with sufficient power
- Bug with modules and ship speed is frustrating, because I can't actually understand when it happens and what is does
- Adding some sound effects (simple music, collisions, engine)
Overall idea is good, but realization is not on par, I'd recommend fix bugs and UI issues before adding new content / features, but there are some cool design ideas and art is nice too
@snesgaard Cheers for trying it out, yea deffinetly need way more feedback when something happens, some juciy screenshake, good old startrek type
@bloodyaugust Thank you, the LD jams are the only time I try to 3D model myself, it's a good motivation to improve a little every time! Hope you had a decent time with the barebone version
@gettingrekt Thank you! Did that shield shader so many times now I could reproduce it in my sleep
@rusya-ink Wow I have no idea how it broke like that, thank you for playing the game and the feedback!
@zealous-coder @kiv Thank you, happy you had a nice time!
Very nice little game ! I like the idea, and it's easy to grasp.
Too bad there isn't a bit of sound to complement it. Also, the icons are a bit confusing, especially when you need to think fast.
Other than than, nice little entry. GG.
@hakro Wohoo as far as I know you hold the world record! Thank you for playing
If you gain some speed and then remove all the engines, it looks like the ship is going insanely fast and you don't have to use any slots on the engines.

Good work dude, it'd be great to see the game compleated, but as is it is great!
@mango-malarkey Thank you for playing!
@notime4games Wow awesome time! Thanks for taking the time to play it
Got some bugs but it's completely expected of such short time.
Hope you keep building on it!
