Sky Aisle by ZeeHatcher
Play on Itch.io
High up in the sky, you are on your way towards your destination. The path that once was has deteriorated and fallen apart over the ages. But you are a Constructor, with the ability to deconstruct and reconstruct tiles. You look at the remaining path tiles around you. Maybe you'll be able to reach your destination after all.
Sky Aisle is a puzzle-platformer, where you have to deconstruct and move existing platform tiles in order to create new paths to progress. With the limited tiles at your disposal, you have to decide what and what not to deconstruct, in order to create paths that you can traverse through.
- WASD to move.
- Space to jump.
- R to rotate tiles during Edit Mode.
- LMB to delete/place tiles.

I was getting worried with all the shapes on the last puzzle, but it was alright =)
Very nice puzzler. The jumping could have felt better, the music could have looped better (look who's talking, music went really bad for me this time). Very calm and nice vibe of the game while puzzling. Really well designed and well made. Great job!
Such a cool idea and implementation, this art style, music and the athmosphere in the game is just right
I had a big brain moment, where I had no use for the edit mode on one point due to how I placed some blocks before. This felt reaally good :D
I also really like that you don't reset the world on character respawn, this would ruin the flow for me for sure.
Please make a full game out of it, I would play the hell out of it!
The b-sides was a very nice addition for people who want more.
Shame I can't vote on mood, this game certainly has one. Well done!
Didn't get into the B-sides so maybe it's already in there, but would be really cool to see a puzzle that incorporates existing blocks from a previous puzzle or some stuff that's more mechanically taxing in terms of the platforming elements.
I think the jump lacks feedback (audio, particles) and the shadow needs to be disabled on the sky, but well done in the limited time!
The sound design was restrained and tasteful. However, I think the checkpoint and "enter construct mode" sounds stuck out a little too much. I really liked the sliding stone sound.
The last puzzle was pretty clever and I think there's a lot of potential for this game!
Nice vibes, cool mechanic, started a bit worryingly simple but thankfully the b-sides were there with way more depth and playing around with the puzzle ideas which I really liked.
Love the visual aesthetic, chill skycastle is a great place to put a game. Good stuff!
I didn't realize right away I have to carve out blocks for a "bridge" from a platform I was standing on. It kinda happened accidentally even.
Loved the music, it might even be my favourite part of the game. It was very relaxing, and I enjoyed that slight tinkling. The sound effects were also satisfying.
The movement felt smooth and comfortable; even though I am an expert at falling down the chasm in literally any game, I didn't do that badly here ^^ Tbh constructing the bridges was more difficult than actually jumping, especially the last bridge in the main game. I actually ended up getting invested and went on until the game told me I am done :D
