In physics, spacetime is any mathematical model that fuses the three dimensions of space and the one dimension of time into a single four-dimensional continuum.

In the vast expanse of the cosmos, where the fabric of spacetime weaves its intricate tapestry, we invite you to embark on an extraordinary journey as Timothy. A boy exploring a world where the boundaries of space and time blur.

In this thrilling Unreal Engine 5 creation, you'll find yourself challenged by a paradox – a world where time is not your ally but a relentless foe. With each passing moment, spacetime collapses, leaving you with limited space to navigate. Your mission? Collect all the elusive power orbs scattered throughout this ethereal realm before the inevitable convergence.

As you delve into this cosmic adventure, remember that the key to success lies in your ability to master the intricacies of spacetime itself. Use your wits and agility to triumph over the impending collapse, and if ever the need arises, you can reset the continuum with a simple press of 'G' or your controller's primary action button (e.g., 'X' on an Xbox controller).

Please note that our pursuit of excellence has led us to keep the game's file size to a minimum while delivering a captivating experience.

For now, this cosmic journey is exclusively available on Windows OS.

Thank you for joining us in this unique odyssey through spacetime. Your adventure awaits!"

  • To Restart Press "G" or Primary action button on a controller (IE: X on xbox controller)

  • "1" To kick even though we couldn't get that part of the game woking.

  • "Esc" to close the game.

I tried to keep the game file size as small as possible, still learning.

Built in unreal engine 5, sorry Windows OS only.

Thanks for playing.

Fun Game concept although I would have wished for a novel idea. Also the fact that the camera turns when the character is spinning is a bit annoying. Keep at it!
Tip: Try building a webgl application next time, not everyone wants to download a 400mb bomb ;)

Jumping puzzles! my nemesis  Timmy looks great and the animations smooth. The power orbs also looked great with the light below  xbox controller and kb/mouse controls all worked pretty good. Timmy's large cranium sometimes obstructed the view of the landing zone, maybe the camera could be raised a little bit? Good job on the game!

@don-shinsk Thanks for playing! This was my first real solo game I am used to having my friends to help point things like that out. I learned a lot this jam, which is what matters to me. :)

Great work on your first solo game! It's such a fun experience being able to ship it. This was a really simple, but fun platformer. Keep up the good work and can't wait for you to grow more as a game dev! :)

All other feature is quite impressive but the character control is not such comfortable. Controlling Character over the jump pad is so hard that I mostly kill my player character within 5 seconds after spawn. I think this point is the only defect of this jam entry. This can be fixed, right?

Nice. Great animation on the main character. I got all the orbs except the difficult one. I tried pushing the block to create a platform but still couldn't make it, haha. Fun though. Good job

@svkj Thank you so much, I wanted you to have to push the block off and jump to it. But then my kid showed me you could just jump from on top of the block and make it.

19:025 score. I love platformers, I think controls could use more responsiveness, because it felt like I could do better, but jump sometimes didn't work if I tried to do it as soon as I landed on the platform.
P.S. I know they're called orbs, but I called them pearls :)

@empyreans woah! That’s a Great time. Thanks, something to do with falling animation perhaps. Thank you for pointing out the jump bug.

Nicely done @thenerdster
Physic was great and controls really smooth ! I appreciated trying to beat my own score (25.14s).

Thank you for your great entry!

Great animations and a very nice game all in all. I agree with some of the other comments that controls could use a bit of work, but overall a pleasant experience. Good job!

Challenging platforming. I had to bust out my 90s style mad platforming skills, yo! Fun and beautiful. On a side note, this kicked in something on my graphics card that freaked out my UPS. TOOOOOO MUUUUCH POOOOOWER!!!!! I guess that's the price of those awesome graphics.

Also, finishing the level just to get a chance to do that level again.... bleh.

Nice character model you got there! Due to spinning camera on platforms it was real complicated to speed run ;D

The character model and animations look really good, but unfortunately I feel like the platforming needs some fine tuning. The character feels a bit too floaty and it makes the sort of tight platforming that the tech demo environment wants feel unfair.

Not much to it, but still a decent amount of fun. The controls were pretty rigid feeling, so it took me several tries, but I ended up getting all the orbs in about 30 seconds. The graphics weren't very cohesive - are they original or from asset packs?

I love the character model. It's nicely rigged and animated. Great idea overall. A simple jump and run. Could've been a bit more difficult to fit the theme more and maybe 2 or 3 more levels that get more and more difficult.

It looks like you had the basics down, could have made another level or this one bigger and more vertical. Great effort for solo though, especially if you were learning as you go :ok_hand:

A frustrating game, and I mean that in a good way. It's nice that the restart was so quick, because I died a LOT. I'll admit I couldn't figure out how to get back from that platform you get to by pushing down the block. :)

Pretty tricky on my laptop trackpad and wasd, sure it's a cakewalk if I had a mouse. Couldn't get all the oabs
