Lost Mage by Eliyud

A game about a mage that is in danger somewhere.

My idea, from the beginning, was a game where I could extrapolate physics mechanics. I still feel like I could have gone further (like adding the possibility of breaking walls, for example), but I feel like the game is in a good state.

Ultimately, the game's core loop is about surviving waves of enemies that, as time passes, tend to become more numerous and difficult to deal with.

It's best to always break crates to avoid running out of lives.

Runs pretty well, and loved the 3d visuals, really felt like powers would be awesome, but of course time sensitive!

What a nice looking game. Really impressive lighting and modeling work here! Best feature by far is breaking the boxes and boulders. That was really satisfying!

The them was implemented well with only having a small level to survive in. Although after a while the level became a bit boring and repetitive. Maybe if the game is developed further you can add in a wave system where after completing for example 5 waves you can move to another small arena. This will give a bit more variety I think.

The music was fitting but the standout for the audio was the enemy sounds. They are chilling which added to quite the tense vibe.

All in all fantastic job!

Highly atmospheric game with great sound design and lighting. More features for combat would be welcome but it's a great start

Great atmosphere! I got wrong expectations, because it looked like you could explore more, kinda sad tho. But the music and sounds are really good.

A parte mais gostos do jogo é quebrar as coisas sem motivo, hehe. Mago metralhadora xD

A great atmosphere and very cool physics.
The invisible walls from which the enemies arrive are very disturbing, an element should have been added to differentiate them.
The game takes too long to get going; it's too easy for a long time.

Otherwise very nice gg, plus I used the same character for an old Ludum haha!

The visuals are great as well as the atmosphere. It was a bit cramped when moving around and felt a little bit clunky. I like that most things are destructible! I also like the way the monsters die. One thing that was a bit annoying was the shooting because it felt like it didn't really shoot where I was pointing, it was off to the right a bit. Not sure how to explain it. Also I wanted to shoot the monsters over at their spawn but it would not let me because of the collider, I think you should let the players be able to shoot them there too:D Overall great game!

Really nice models and lighting! The impact of enemies exploding and boxes/tables breaking really makes your attacks feel satisfying and powerful. The core loop of just surviving in one room works well for the jam theme and I can tell it allowed you to really focus on the main experience and polish the gameplay and graphics. Nice work!

I love the atmosphere and music! I thought I would be able to shoot down the halls as the enemies approached, but found that there were invisible walls.

Graphics were good, the crying creature was funny, the vibe was very moody. Honestly the only thing I found frustrating was the lack of a mouse indicator so I knew where my mouse was pointing. Other than that it was pretty fun.

Nice and simple, I loved breaking the boxes with the magic spells. The spiky shelled enemy reminds me a lot of Mario buzzy beetles

Impressive physics and lighting, I do wish there different spells and things that got unlocked as it went further intothe waves to keep things interesting. A really solid base honestly that I can see getting developed into something super fun with time.

Solid and simple, I wonder if its meant to be so dark in the room that fits the survivial tone somehow lol. Anyway good job!

Interesting view, the space is really limited, but I believe it is due to the number of objects blocking the path, such as trash on the floor. Space is not really limited by space. Good graphic result for a short time. Good graphic atmosphere. The distant camera reduces immersion and the subject matter, as the space is not limited enough. I think it could be a more limited space. It's not fun after 20 seconds. But it's an interesting experience.

The graphics is great, it would be great if there's a goal in the game, like a boss or an exit.

Love the visual and light effects, I just felt the game is a little too dark which makes you walk always holding left click to be able to see

Really my favorite part about this were the physics based particles, I wish there were more games that had time to implement that kind of juice, haha. It was quite simple, and I really don't get how the theme plays much of a part here at all -- but it honestly was really fun for how much time you had to put it together, and I'd see that as a success! :3

No mouse cursor in the web version really bugged me, I'm assuming it has something to do with a custom cursor in the PC build? Other than that, the graphics were really well made, great job. I wish there'd been a bit more to it, but I congratulate you on getting something out there! See you next jam!

Interesting dark atmosphere. Simple gameplay. The aiming felt really off. Had to click far to the left of monsters to hit them.

Nice graphics and atmosphere, I like the destructible environment and the fact you can push some enemies with your spell. Aiming is weird, and the invisible limits that prevent the player to move to corridors where enemies come from + the fact they block spells may be improved.

I got cornered and died! I really enjoyed this game. Gave me ideas for how to improve a project I am working on. Thanks for sharing.
