The graphics could use work, and it was kinda stressful, like when you would drown in Sonic (stress wise)

But the theme is cliche like a lot of the other entries, which gave that a 5/5.

Man, the art style and presentation were phenomenal, especially given the time constraint. Amazing work!

It's rare to ever see a game as well done as this in the Ludum Dare. To be honest the coolest part of the game was the amazing title sequence. I loved the stress of game and the required strategy.

I like this a lot. Good use of theme and awesome style in that intro. I love the use of the text and environment to tell story. Audio was a bit meh, but you only have time for so much!

Fantastic storytelling, solid game, overall a great package!

Really impressed this was done in 48 hours, given all fleshed out the experience is, the amount of subtle story devices, and the stability of the gameplay (shifting its weight compelling between action and strategic elements).

Great work!

got my heart racing a little ;) and it is a lot more polished than most other games. Overall I thought it was quite impressive that you pulled this off in 48 hours. (especially with that opening animation)

Good job!

wow, very cinematic! great graphics and great mood (though it would maybe benefit from some creepy music, but I'm impressed with how much you achieved in the time)

it's a little easy to click fast and outspeed the police, maybe it would be better if it was turn based or there was a short time limit on how often you can click? great game though, well done

I see a lot of things are done with great amount of care in this game, (that too with the given limited amount of time)
1. The smoothness in the transition of the scenes.
2. The way the story is told - instead of filling up a scene with lines of story just to give the player a brief intro (which I want to skip anyway), this tells the story while playing the game, which is awesome.
3. The cool intro in the first scene.
4. Magnifying on the last person killed smoothly
5. Awesome stealth type game (how many stealth indie games do you see in game jams )

Very very well done, Congrats ! :)

I really liked the gameplay. It kind of reminded me of the old game "Oil's Well."

The intro was also very cool, but I kept wondering if I was supposed to be controlling something. I thought it was just an intro, but I wasn't sure. Also it would be nice to have a button that you could just hold to retract your arm, rather than having to repeatedly hit the arrow keys in the reverse order.

Very fun game. I definitely enjoyed it.

I really liked the strategy here. First I tried just waiting for them when hiding but then realized the tentacle goes as far as I want. Very cool mechanic. Played it through and enjoyed a lot!

Absolutely great job! Really enjoyed the game! The intro, the art, the idea, all of it was solid. The tentacle sound effect was slightly annoying, but other than that amazing job in 2-3 days!

I like the way that you took for this game. I loved the cut scene at the beginning of the game because it really pulled me into the experience. I kind of wish there was an ending at the end, but hey I know how time it must have taken to make the first one so I don't mind much. Loved the gameplay, it was a really cool to mixture of both puzzle and stealth. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to pick apples from trees with my tentacles.

Wow dude - this is my favorite game I've played so far (out of lots!). If you added some music and polished this, I would pay money for this. I loved the opening sequence. I would like a feature where I can press and hold space bar to quickly retract the arm. Absolutely top notch!

Really good gameplay. Felt smooth, though I feel it was to strategy based to make a real-time game out of it.. maybe it's just me, though.
I liked that for some of the puzzles, there was more than one solution.
I could see this as a mobile game, using swipes instead of arrow keys. Give it a try, see how it feels.
Well done!

It have a nice ambient and good puzzle scheming. The graphics are simple but effective on the game. And it's fun.

It doesn't have music, but the correct one could be wonderful.

Really cool grid based puzzle game :) A little bit easy to finish on the first try. But a good concept and well executed. Looks like you spent just as much time on the intro sequence as the game itself!
