PcMasterio

People do not build their own pc, a small manufacturer known as "PcMastorio" is on the rise.

Your Goal, as the Teck lead of PcMastorio is to match certain specifications in the LIMITED SPACE offered by the casing.

Those filthy designers have come up with some "New post modernism bauhaus design", your job will not be an easy one.

Thanks to our partnerships with the different brands, we can get access to exclusive components in advance.

Motherboards are the key as they boost others parts of the same brand.

Beware things can heat up and the SPACE is LIMITED.

Made the scuffiest pc emaginable, but it works and that's what matter. Just like in real life!
Great game, one of the best packing-likes i played so far!

Forgive me for a being a little dense... what key/mouse button am I supposed to press to rotate a piece? I don't know what the "Rotate" icon indicates. Or do I need to plug in a controller?

Oh, it would be best only if there was a reset button...

At first I didn't understand what was what. But when I realized, the game dragged me out.

@silas-reinagel To rotate you need to drag a piece and press R

@metagen Good idea for the moment the only solution is to mash the right click.

@alexis-brochec Thank you! Now I have been able to play.

Very well-designed puzzle game with great progression. I love the thematics, and this gives me a lot of nostalgia from building my own PCs.

Improvement ideas:
- The soundtrack was a bit repetitive and intense. Puzzle games often benefit from a less-pronounced soundtrack to make more space for deep thinking.
- Would be nice to have a "skip puzzle" button, so that one can come back to a specific puzzle later if they get stuck for a bit

I honestly love the core design here, and I believe with a little evolution and some more investment into music and art this would make a great Steam game. I would absolutely buy it!

The game being about building a PC adds extra interest to this Tetris-like. I would have liked to access the shop when I am solving the puzzles, so I can buy the part I need. Also being able to rotate the piece with the mouse, for example with the scroll wheel. For my next build I will make sure to buy a Pirate motherboard so my Pirate PSU delivers extra watts.

Great game! Some levels were super hard and I think I got stuck on an impossible level (required 13 GPU while my best had 12, wasn't possible to fit 2 GPUs and the MOBO performance boost didn't affect the GPU). Overall I loved the execution of the theme, great game.

@winter2277 Thanks for testing our game !
All the 10 levels are possible and most of them have multiple solutions :)
The motherboards boost the GPU of the same brand.
Not sure which level you were stuck at, but without saying to much, there is never 2 GPUs used at the same time and all brands of GPU are used at least once.

@caerind Thanks for the info, I thought it was impossible because I saved up my points instead of buying anything

@prutty Thanks for the feedback, about the music, we discovered 1H prior to the dead line that we couldn't use 3rd party music... So we did what we could.
Next time we will do a better job ^^

A very enjoyable interpretation of tetris the tetris style of game, i certainly felt the limited space theme in several of the levels, the music is very thematic, some of the levels were quite hard but felt satisfying to solve, my only real gripe was the sound effects on the main menu and the unskippable segment when starting the game as i'm quite a quick reader, but otherwise a great game and glad to see fun games in the jam made by people with passion :)

Very cool game! I like the tetris-style gameplay as it fits the theme really well. The game was quite challenging at times but it was really great nonetheless. The star wars text at the beginning was also really cool too. Nice job!

Some levels were very difficult but I enjoyed pairing components and fitting together the different shaped tetrominoes to figure out unique solutions. I played this game to completion and very much enjoyed it. Wish the music loop was a bit longer, and that the PSU looked a little different than the other components, I kept clicking it by accident but possibly a skill issue. The space invader level was a nice touch, GG!

@jdemattos thanks for the feedback, it was our first game on unreal, we lost quit some time on the core mechanics (collision beetween the pieces, make the inventory etc..) thus not allowing us much time for the pieces and the levels (most of them were made beetwen during the last afternoon just prior to the upload ^^ ).
An about the music, we used 3rd party music(free of usage) until the last hour, were we discovered that we needed to use our own music.
