## Instructions

  • Move using W-A-S-D

  • Hold left mouse click to shoot (the longer you hold the left mouse button, the further the arrow will fly)

  • Press E next to the campfire to play or to stop playing the banjo,

  • Increase your ammunition by playing banjo near the campfire

  • Stay near the campfire light, otherwise you will freeze

  • Shoot at fireflies to expand the campfire's light

  • Beware of snakes. Their main task is to reach the fire and extinguish it. You can destroy snakes either by shooting them or step on to trample them

  • Press F to stop drawing the bow

Fullscreen recommended

Ukulele music played by us, but we decided to opt-out audio, because it's the only audio created by us in this game.

I did love the idea and it was challenging, plus the panda is awesome. I also love that you actually could see the theme in the game. Good work. The only disappointment I had was running out of ammo.

Great submission! I loved the art and the mechanic of keeping the fire lit. It did feel like it took a bit took long to regain arrows but other than that it was fun. Good work!

Loved the art work and the mechanics mechanics around shooting the fireflies to keep the fire alive. Really interesting take on the theme.

at least the fire whispers affirmations to me as my circle dwindles to nothingness and the snakes close in and all I can do is strum my banjo in defiance of the inevitable.

Chaotic, but fun!

This is a really good idea and great execution. My only suggestion is that it's a very challenging game to play for longer than 30 seconds. Still, looks cute, sounds great, controls smooth.

PANDAS!!!

But on a more serious note - what a lovely game! Once I started to understand what I had to do I ran around shooting fireflies just to run back to fight off some snakes. At some stage it felt like the end was inevitable, so I sat at the campfire, playing my banjo ukulele and waiting for the screen to turn dark.
I had a lot of fun playing this game!

You warned me and you told the truth, this is as much a challenge as it is cute. This game seems to nail the vibe it was going for, the relaxing chilling by the campfire rapidly became a frantic hope that the arrows would recharge just that bit faster and finally wound down into the inevitability of the closing circle. Awesome job!

I lasted more than a minute! It's super tough, but the panda is super cute. And playing by the fire reminds me of the traveler's music from Outer Wilds.

Maybe I'd like to be able to pick up the arrows that missed. It would be less hardcore.

Looks great! I like the bow mechanic for shooting farther - I couldn't last too long though.

The game was adorable, as everyone else it was incredibly challenging, as the darkness came fast and the end was inevitable. I really enjoyed it, thanks for your submission. (PS: the banjo music was great)

Nice atmosphere. Controls felt good to play. I feel like I died really quickly but for this kind of game in a jam it might be better that way than dragging on.

That was way more intense than I could ever expect coming from a game with pandas and banjos by a fireplace!

The snakes were fine but I could barely play for 1 more arrow until I had to shoot a firefly and then run back to play for another arrow and so on

Lovely stuff, actually. Very charming all around.
