ROCKOUT by Nick Baggett

ROCKOUT is a one versus one multiplayer earthbending arena game where your main goal is to knock your opponent out of the ring!

Use your abilities to knock your opponent out of the arena! Most rounds wins, be the last one standing! Careful, because the stage gets smaller over time!
WASD to move. Mouse to aim. Q, E, Left-Click are your abilities. Space to jump.

Luke Woodruff - UI/Audio/Music
Nick Baggett - Programming/Modelling/VFX
Trent Jeffrey - Music

Game music made by the band Right Through, check them out on Spotify!

Opted out of Graphics because of the animations and skybox, everything else you see was made during the jam!
Build is Windows only, Mac might come in the future.

Nice idea and loved the Avatar theme, congrats everyone!
The fact that this game is multiplayer really impressed me.
I've been working on a 1v1 multiplayer ability-based shooter for the better part of two years, and ya'll just went and knocked one out in a weekend.
Jerks.
Music is amazing, visuals are great, gameplay was fun
I really felt like a pro bender
I played with someone for a round, I died when I fell after the arena collapsed, I'm not sure if hitting with left click actually kills people, I feel like I hit him a bunch but he didn't die.
Also that intro is sweet :D
Me looking for a worthy opponent.
Loved the game, it was really fun. My go to tactic was the jumping spray and pray or wall behind me as a guard. Also amazing into animation!
Incredibly impressive work for a jam game. Needs to be a full release. Thanks for playing with me on stream!
Anyway, nice work for making a multiplayer game this polished in this time!
It's not unheard of that people make separate advanced editions that they explicictly tell NOT to rate for the competition. At least I'm going to add the missing stuff in a separate version of our game, as our great team made so much awesome material that would otherwise all go to waste.
Wanted to ask for score chasers if you were fine with me playing some gameplay of your game in the background in the waiting period / intermission. In the waiting period its going to cycle between gameplay of a bunch of different games in the background (with music from games in the jam playing as well)
