A short first-person puzzle-horror game!

STRONGLY recommended to play in full screen with audio on, since this game relies on audio cues. Play Windows build for better performance than Web!

You've started your job working at the mailroom sorting letters, but what you weren't told is that there could be a demon plaguing the workroom. This demon does not take kindly to those who enter his domain, and won't let you leave alive if you fail at sending his letters where they need to go.

Really scary game i originally quit it because i was too scared but it it really good, the camera and controls work perfectly and the game makes sense when you play it, the game did say there was a users manual somewhere but i sadly couldn't find it.

Simple concept with great execution. Well done!
I found the idea of discarding demon mail actually kinda funny.

loved the idea but the mouse sensitivity got me killed

Great game! really nice twist to a obvious delivery game! very well executed, really got me into it! I'm not sure however why I lost, as I still had time on my timer, and IDK what caused me to die. I feel like it went really hard really fast, if that what caused me to die.
Amazing job overall!

This was neat. I would have liked being able to move more than one letter at a time. Like if i could pick up three of the same color or something like that. Well done.

@larsievl Yes the manual was going to be a thing for more complicated mail deliveries but it ended up getting cut for time.

@aghoulprince For some reason our mouse sensitivity on webgl was way higher than on the exe, sorry about that!

@bmanstudio You die if you have 3 "failures" at any point, we didn't make it super clear though

Thank you all for the feedback!

I love this! I wish there was more people who made horror games for this game to kudos to you for making one!

Pretty nice game ! There isn't much difficulty but a lot of mood.
The only advice i would have is to give some sort of indication you can interact because a bunch of time i tried to interact and was just a bit to far so i just dropped the letter

I'm on a Mac so I had to try the WebGL build. It responds all funky, but I was warned to play the Windows version. Props for doing 3D for a game jam. Nice job.

I really liked it - especially the demonic letters falling from the ceiling - nothing scary going on, just some otherwordly beings trying to ship their mail

I won! This felt very immersive and atmospheric. It got quite tense as the game sped up, had to manage my time. Had a slight 'papers please' feel which I liked.

@adam-gallina Haha true, the mail must flow! We planned on implementing more postage stuff where the stamps help dictate where the mail is supposed to go (papers please style @big-cow) but having been our first time working in 3D the base implementation stuff ended taking up our time. @tamara188 Apologies, I didn't think about it not being clear that the evil mail goes to the altar; as everything else goes to the bins, that could get confusing!

Playing this game as a second-generation goth is funny. There's this internal reflex going "Huh, it's not my birthday yet, why are my parents sending me all these letters?" every time a black invoice appears LOL

Jokes aside though, apart from the weirdly high mouse sensitivity (which honestly wasn't as much of a bother as that just made it sound), I must say this game was actually pretty spot-on as a relaxing game jam for me. Not too long, the core game loop is satisfying even if it's simple, and the atmosphere is good as well. Also, I'm glad it doesn't make use of jump scares (I've a strong opinion about jump scares being heavily overused).

One minor improvement, imo, would be to remove the bell button. I don't quite get its purpose to be honest, I usually found myself waiting for new letters to arrive while the button was still red. Maybe the reasoning is that one should normally feel threatened by the big black burning invoice altar standing in the room so that the button builds tension, but perhaps I'm just not the right target audience for that kind of tension

Very cool game, definitely spooky and made my anxiety spike a bit. LOL. But it was a really well made game!

For some reason my first play delivering the demon letters to the demon thinger was counting as a fail. So I couldnt for the life of me figure out how to deal with them lol. Lost a few rounds then tried delivering to the thinger again and it worked.

Fun atmosphere, very happy I didnt get jump scared :)

@hcs-hades Ah theres a little poster on the wall at the start thats supposed to read as "No sticker goes to trash" but I could see that getting mixed up for the demon letters!

A nice creepy vibe! :D Failed the first time (thought all black letters went to the pedestal and expired another), was expecting to be jump scared. Was pleasantly surprised I wasn't! Great job building the atmosphere, and I would be interested to see how you would have expanded the mail sorting.

Well done. I love that throwing away instructions counts as a success. Though I did not have any sound, I guess it has something to do with WebGL build and Wwise, assuming Wwise fully replaces normal Unity audio.
You should have mouse sensitivity slider, it got someone killed.
WebGL builds have higher sensitivity, it's not just you.

Anyway good job.

@ping78 Wwise WebGL Experimental setup requires SharedArrayBuffer support in a secure context, so I would assume it's related to browser/user settings, I'm unsure which browsers have it disabled by default. That's unfortunate that it did not function for you, apologies, Web builds have a lot of caveats for sure haha.

I am easily spooked and I went as far as I could, but it got too creepy for me so I stopped. That's not to say that's a bad thing, I think you achieved what you were trying to make! I'm just not necessarily the target audience. The sounds and lighting was spot on; really made the mood of the game come through. I **hated** that I had to do 180-turns all the time to do my job. But again, that's not a bad thing, I was just mortified that I would turn around and see something I did not want to see! The job itself is pretty easy as it is; checking for a stamp and sorting colors isn't too hard, but with some additional rules this could become something really special! Great work!

Wow, great atmosphere in the game. Really easy to understand too. The mail drop could have been a little more frequent. First time the lights shutoff I thought I was going to die.

Great Job!
