Stork by Sam Butterworth

[raw]
made by Sam Butterworth for Ludum Dare 53 (JAM)

This is my first Game Jam! And also my first time using twine so go easy on me! I had some issues publishing the game here (it wouldn't let me re-submit the file) But the link to the game down below should work :v:

Stork is a short multiple choice game based on the prompt “Delivery” Created with Twine and using Blender3D to create low-poly artwork

I go by @sambutterworthillustrator on instagram so feel free to check that out!

Uh oh!
If you're seeing this error, it means I can't find your index.html file.

This usually means you created your .zip file by zipping the entire folder, and index.html is somewhere like MyGame/index.html. If you recreate your .zip with index.html file in the root, this error should go away.

See the embedding guide for more details. ludumdare.com/resources/guides/embedding/

Really incredible for your first game jam game! The story was engaging, writing was funny and it didn't drag on for too long - even a bit of extra interactivity with the fight at the end. If I had a gripe it would be the lack of dynamism - particles or little animations would really have made it come to life a little bit more. Great job!

refreshing to see a text adventure type of game. sure this isn't the right genre for quick and fun gameplay but you have really good writing and even better graphics. with music and sounds fitting the atmosphere this wouldn't feel like a jam game at all! keep up the good work!

Great job with a narrative game in the jam, the mood and art really sold it!

It's a great concept! I love the art and the mood it brings. There were a few times where it felt like my choices didn't matter (like choosing to check the cargo and instead just being told nah, it's probably fine and not actually checking), but overall it's an engaging narrative.
