Royal Capital Dark Store by kiv
You are a rookie in a Royal Capital Dark Store at the beginning of the game, and you will finish it as a King, could you believe it?
The game is basically a quest/puzzle with some texts and interactions. There are 10 levels, around 10-20 minutes of gameplay.
Reading is important.
Please use your imagination to render a magnificent fantasy world of your choise because no visuals this time.
I hope you will enjoy the game.
Good luck, Rookie!

- The walking sound is ear-shattering
- Major bug: you don't need to pick the right 3 boxes, you can just keep taking one of the three until the quest is completed; I managed to finish the game in under 5 minutes by doing this
I really enjoyed the funny descriptions. Sometimes it was a bit hard to figure out exactly what was needed and doing some trial and error solved it. That was actually a bit of a design flaw, not reading anything and just trying to take things has no repercussion. Maybe accepting it and delivering the wrong thing would have been a way to make players more careful.
The stacking, the beasts, the funny one liners. Well done on making a fun game!
@zsharpfire thanks for the bug report! anyway, you can take it like a valid way to have fun by going through a backdoor, so congradulations!
@the-neon-shark good idea about reshuffling, but the core thing I wanted to achive is that players remember boxes they visited. "Aha I know what is it and where is it!" after taking a quest, that was my main design goal:) To explore and make unknown places familiar and cozy
@sezdev trying to take things without reading is also a valid way to beat the game, not so fun for sure. But if a player struggles with a riddle or do not want to read anything, why not?
Loved the music and the graphics i pictured :p
I always knew i would end up being a king !

You can't loose or take the wrong box, it would have been fun to have the chief smack our head if we brought the wrong order :)
Well done
Again, great game. I loved this!
