Congratulations!
You, employee number 423087, have been hired by MailCorp with title Postman. At MailCorp, we believe in sacrifices and we have selected you as an ideal candidate to embody this value. You must deliver at all costs.
- The fullscreen web version of the game (in the 'Links' section) is recommended over the small embedded copy here on the Ludum Dare site. If you have an issue with
SharedArrayBuffer in the embedded version, please try the full version instead.
- In a web browser, you likely need to click with the mouse before you can hear any audio because of web browser permissions. If you can't hear any audio at the start of the first level, try clicking.
- The Windows and Linux arm64 versions have not been tested but are offered as they may perform better than the web version.
I played through until level 8, that one stumped me!.
Mechanics are cool and well explored.
Music loop is too short in my opinion, and even if the music is cool I had to mute it to finish the game.
(The LDjam integrated version doesn't work for me)
The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing:
Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)
SharedArrayBuffer - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)
+ The biggest criticism I would have would be the difficulty, I feel like the problem with a lot of dogs where you have no sausage was harder then some of the next ones and should occur later on.
+ On the longer levels with a lot of planning it took quite a while for the whole sequence to execute, and especially when you are doing it more than once it's a little annoying watching him do same moves, so it would be nice to be able to speed things up (like press space bar for 3x speed).
I'm glad I stuck with it and spent the time completing each puzzle. They got pretty challenging for some levels and it was great figuring out the chase, sausage, mail loop! The music when you execute your plan is great too!
Puzzle games are pretty tough to develop and this was really well done. 18 levels is quite a feat! Great job on this!
I couldn't make it through level 8, I got stuck.
