SHIVER DELIVER this is a very short story in the style of scary stories from Reddit

In this bone-chilling horror game, you play as a guy waiting for his mom to come home. As the hour's tick by, strange events begin to unfold, and a flyer for a free pizza delivery is slipped under your door. The flyer looks suspicious, but your hunger gets the better of you, and you decide to order. The delivery guy arrives, dressed in a creepy stuffed bunny suit, and as you take the pizza into the kitchen, you hear a strange noise coming from the box. What could it be? Suddenly, the delivery guy seems to disappear, leaving you alone in the house feeling that something is wrong. Are you safe, or is there something more sinister at play

I'll preface this by saying I hate horror games, but I thought this was cool! The audio and post-processing did well to set a creepy mood which made me nervous to walk around. It did take me a bit to figure out how to open doors. I also couldn't figure out if there was a way to avoid *the thing* or if the game was meant to end where it did. Very spooky either way, nice work!

Very well done atmosphere! The visuals and audio along with the storytelling definitely sets up a spooky vibe. I like the use of narration to guide the player along. Most of the time I get annoyed at horror protagonists for getting themselves into bad situations, but with this one I can sympathise: A free pizza is a free pizza.

The mixture of the music and the graphic style fit each other very well. Horror games are rare for me, but a short one goes. Also had some goosebumps :fearful: :thumbsup:

First thing first, the mood is amazing. The end (I don't know if it is the end but I tried twice and couldn't get further than that) really spooked me, the first AND the second time. I don't have much else to say except good job!

The atmosphere is amazing and the sound design as well. Just wished the monster took longer to come kill me as I just got back inside when it got me.

Absolutely nerve wracking !! I have a very low tolerance for horror in the first place but damn did this get me. Very well done

The sound and color set the perfect mood and makes the scene very immersive and intense!

I know how it's hard to make 'a lot' in this genre in such short time, and i'm impressed for what you did. It really got me, the mood was well set and i got into it (and now i hate you because i was scared of course :eyes: )

This was super moody, creepy, and immersive. Graphics look great. The UI was really minimal and clean and thought it worked well. I really enjoyed the small touches like the old shows on the TV that you can turn on and off. I did encounter a bug after the pizza delivery, I think, as the story really didn't progress after that. I saved my game and will give it another go, though. Do you intend to continue development on this? Impressive entry, nice work!

I really love horror stories, I think their future is in just such domestic stories, and I think I'll keep it up :)
