I enjoyed the physics-based attachment pile, that seems like it would be difficult!
Definitely my favorite game so far!
I feel like the timer extension gets too pricey too fast, and it would have been cool to get another ship upgrade which shoots down the tentacles when they get too close.
It took me a couple of attempts but I did it! Fun game with some interesting upgrades. I like that they're more interesting than just making your raft bigger and faster. The physics could be a little bit frustrating but I think that adds to the charm.
The only 2 things I'd suggest: Start the timer when the player has control because "losing" 5 seconds feels unfair, even though it really doesnt matter & I wanna continue playing after I won! No retirement for me, I was still having fun collecting stuff!
I needed that retirement after getting ambushed by evil kraken stealing everything I collected multiple times.
The time purchase doubling each time made it really tough though.
I had an issue that the time display was off the screen in fullscreen mode. I guess it was not anchored correctly, my native resolution is 1920x1200 which is not the most common aspect ratio.
It seems to me that the difficulty increases too fast and that it's almost impossible to recover from mistakes.
All in all really well done :smile:
However, I didn’t figure out right away how to collect the gems; I’d like to see a clearer implementation. And the music is very good and dynamic. Did you make it yourselves?
