Woudl be nice to have a tutorial in game, since it's not a web one and you can't easily look up it. On the bright side, the game really feels like a horror

Great game, a short tutorial would be really helpful. It's also really hard to read the notes because it's so clunky while you're reading, and the text is hard to read. The models and graphics look good, although my fairly powerful computer gets really noisy when I run the game. But the atmosphere is great. Anyway, great job!

Yes, optimization is something we didn't have time to implement, so on weaker systems it runs like Crysis in 2007 😅. Considering this is our first full-fledged project on Unreal Engine 5, I think it turned out well. Thanks for the feedback! ☺️

P.S. We have released a patch that improves optimization!

It looks cool! I really like the graphics and music, and the overall atmosphere is great. You did a great job! By the way, there is an Easter egg for crying angels in my team's game, but it may not be easy to find it. Thank you for your efforts!

Sound design, general vibe and visuals are great. Unfortunately, I only have GTX 1060 so the game ran at around 20FPS. I feel like going for a simple Slender the 8 Pages formula was a good idea for the jam. The statue didnèt really feel scary to me though, Im not sure if its bugged but the statue never stopped moving, it would continuously slide and follow me. Some sound or visual effects when looking at the statue would have added a lot I feel.

Interesting, the statue is supposed to only move when you break eye contact (as shown in the video above). It shouldn't be constantly moving. I'll see what I can do about this bug.

Thanks for the feedback!

Great mockumentary-style horror game. The sound design is top-notch and do the atmosphere! I’d suggest replacing the blink animation with VHS-style glitches or noise to make the experience more consistent with the camera perspective.

I like the idea of the found-footage VHS perspective which seems to add to the dread - I'm not great at horror games. The sound design was top notch, really cemented the atmosphere

I'm not a big fan of horror, but I really like the atmosphere of this game. The whole gameplay I was sitting with my eyes half-closed, cause the game is VERY SPOOKY (for me), and that's what horror games should do. The mechanic of blinking is very cool. I literaly was scared on every blink, cause I was waiting for something, what I can see, when I open my eyes. Great!

Press Q to blink HAHA damn. Horror games are usually not my cup of tea, but I think you really nailed down the atmosphere of SPOOK

Good and complete game! I feel like being thirsty for a short tutorial, otherwise I don't know where to search. That's the only confusing part, and the video does explain well!
