Description:

KRAGZHOR is a 2D-overhead-view hack-and-slash game where you control the monster KRAGZHOR (only capital letters).
Your mission is to attack the puny human village, destroy the buildings, and feast upon the village people.
It will not be easy, the humans have rounded up their troops and will stop at nothing to end your existence.

The enemy will come in three types:
- The Villager, will run away from you as soon as he sees you, makes for good throwing or eating.
- The Bowman, fires his rapidly firing crossbow against you, be sure to take them out quick before sustaining heavy damage.
- The Knight, charges at you with his heavy sword, make use of your throwing ability against him.

KRAGZHOR has the ability to pick up rocks or enemies off the ground. He can then throw them and take out several enemies at once.
Enemies can also be eaten when they are picked up, this will regain a small portion of your health.
To beat the game you must kill all enemies and destroy all building. Good luck!

Fun game, but really hard. Didn't understand how to eat at the beginning. Realized after a while that you have to grab a human and then use C to consume them. An indication that you need to hold a human when trying to eat would be cool.
Otherwise really good game!

Do the footprints have any meaning? Like villagers following them? I liked it a lot, it was fun destroying village after village. But I did not have any music or audio and at the end it was kind of laggy when there were thousands of soldier. Anyway, thx for the game!

A simple and nice game, maybe a bit unambitious and straightforward about the theme. It would probably benefit from more building types, and maybe some advance defence features, like archer/mage towers etc.

That was so much fun! I kept playing to the very end. The music matches the mood, the sound effects are great, and the devastation is limitless MUAHHAHA! I don't know how you made such a fun game in so little time, but hats off to you. Very well done. If I were to nitpick though, I would say that it would be awesome to have a few bigger rocks to throw and maybe a target line so you can tell where you will throw. Otherwise it's perfect.

Nice little game. I liked the fact that you could thrash the buildings and throw people into them. Also the footprints were a nice touch!

Nice entry you have here!

I LOVED this game, overall it wasn't really what I'd call innovative but SO MUCH FUN when it comes to play, it has a difficult edge but you just attack a village then go find some defenceless villagers to munch up when you're about to die and as you progress it becomes REALLY hard but really fun. I loved the art style and the lighting and the audio was great (especially the voices and screams) which overall set an excellent mood. Excellent job guys, this entry is great!

A terribly satisfying game once I got the hang of it, although I found the best way to kill all of the enemies was to round them up all close together by circling them and then spamming V to grab/throw them all really fast, by time you've thrown 10 enemies you've only taken 2 hits of damage because of the invulnerability timer.

Other than that, good job! I had no issues playing the game and it was very enjoyable to be KRAGZHOR.

Cool gameplay and smooth animations of moving/attacking. I really liked the art style and that "unstoppable" feeling =)

Wow...

I'm in complete awe as to how anyone can make such a bad game. It's bad enough that the controls are overly complicated, but you have to guess how to get to the menu where the controls are revealed. When you finally learn how to play this "game", the hitboxes are so, so, so off. It is

IMPOSSIBLE

to tell where, in the mess that is the hit animation, the attack actually reaches.

Even if you overlook these extremely evident flaws, the game itself is more generic than spaghetti and meatballs. I'm Jack Nicholson.

I always try to see something positive in these types of games. I get it, you're young, you're trying to develop, but you are just so incredibly off. I can't think of anything positive in this pool of mismatched lines of code you have the audacity to call a game.

Re-think, re-imagine and do some serious soul searching. This is not the path you want to head down. Either that or consider a career in information systems, because this is just not good enough by any standards.

Really good, probably played it for like an hour and a half. I got 2060 kills my last try but stopped because it was getting hard to find enemies. Super fun.

It's a good fun entry, not the most interesting use of the theme but you've clearly focused on making it entertaining. Lining up a group of knights and launching a rock through them was great!

Loved it!

Great art and animation, great audio feedback (smashing buildings reminded me of the Rampage games). Very well polished - solid, no bugs or glitches to be found.

It was very satisfying lining up a swarm of enemies and seeing how many I could get with one rock.

The throwing did take some getting used to, since KRAGZHOR's a lefty! I guess I was expecting the thrown rocks to be center-aligned with the player's sprite, though I'm not sure how you could make that look natural.

I never did figure out how to eat, but I'd say that just made it more intense/enjoyable towards the end. I reached the end with only a sliver of health, kiting an entire army!
Speaking of the end, you should put in some kind of formal ending. Even if it's just throwing up a "You rock!" screen after smashing all the buildings at the end.

Really awesome job :)

Muthafudgin' badazz monstuh! Slick animation too! Feels so satisfying to bowl a rock into dozens of people.

Not much to complain about here. Perhaps a proper ending of sorts when reaching the top. Might also have been cool if I could pick up two rocks--one in each hand--and throw them both at the same time, haha!

The vignette and music add to the mood. Good fun. Great game. Awesome job!
