Love the art and animations ! Two small notes if you're interested in feedback!
1) I got a bit stuck when I seemed to run out of inventory space, and when I created a new item, it vanished.
2) The footsteps sounds i found a little bit too harsh and repetitive, but totally understandable due to the time constraints! What you put together is really impressive.
Overall, nice work!

thanks for the feedback!! we didn't have enough time for designing better player guidance so :[ for the inventory slots - you can just discard items by dragging them out. @lrdjj

Cute art work

Impressive style consistency under such tight schedule. It's fun trying out all the weird combinations as well. I think it'll be great to have some small hints, like an ingredient book when player gets stuck. There's also a bug that when you hit "stir" multiple times, the ingredients that comes after it will land in the pot not inside the circle above it. Overall amazing work😉its one of my favorite out of all LDJ58 participant games

Although there have been unhappy and quarrels in the process of making this game, I really felt happy as a planner when I saw the finished product. I also hope that everyone who plays this game can feel happy after being scared by * * ~ Thank you!

Very cute game! I really liked the concept of collecting things compulsively and then trying to do weird combinations with them. Also the art style and the small animations are very cute and they fit perfectly the theme with the also very nice music. I could not find how to make the iPad though, so maybe some hints would have been nice but I understand the time constraints, together with the footsteps sound which might be a bit repetitive after a bit. Overall, really nice work !!

Thanks everyone for playing our game and giving us ratings! Programmer here. It's been an absolutely wild ride during the last ~8 hours, at 10 PM CST, we found a game breaking bug with the inventory combination system that breaks pretty much any potential to reach above day 2. Night time was usually when I write bugs, not fix them, but luck was on our side for those few hours and somehow that game breaking issue was fixed. I see that there are still edge cases that I overlooked for the inventory combination module, unfortunately those were not caught before the ddl :( But for anyone who can still reach day 5 amidst those glitches, you are in for a (pleasant?) surprise!

Very cute visual style and animation! I think it's one of the most overall solid game that I've encountered so far for this jam.

The art and animations are adorable, paired with great music. The potion making is great, but I cant work out the ipad either haha. If someone works it out leave a spoiler and I will try the later days.

Thanks for playing our game! And thanks for all the nice comments and feedbacks! I'm one of the two artists in this team. I drew the objects in the environment, the animals, the map and did the level design with the other artist.

This is my first Game Jam. Although the process it's a bit stressful, the final result was wayyyyy beyond what I expected. I gained a ton of experience in this jam. I had great teammates who I could really count on. We all came up with the gameplay and mechanics together and everyone did an amazing job. It was a lot of hardwork but the result was absolutely worth it. 10/10 recommended would try this again


Impressive work - I really enjoyed playing until the end! Did not expected from the cozy atmosphere in the beginning that things would take a twist after day 3 - but the sudden change of music really supported the story perfectly. I was a bit confused at first how to move on with the dialogue box - maybe a menu with a short "how to play" would have been helpful. Nonetheless, it was a great game - I'm a fan! :)

The game's graphics are cute, and the atmosphere is warm. However, there is room for improvement in playability. The most significant issue currently is the lack of hints for crafting recipes. I got stuck on the iPad the first time and on the Map the second time.
Overall, it's a good game.

I loved the vibe of this game! :D Especially the cute art and the cute music. The gameplay also fit this feeling really well. It was very relaxing to try to think of ways to make certain items, and then to stroll through the forest to try to find fitting items. I really loved the 'clever' combinations, such as how to make an eggplant, since I could puzzle those out myself (and feel very clever in the process :P). Other combinations, such as a wooden plank or stone tablet or baseball bat, felt a bit arbitrary to me. For these some extra guidance would have helped not getting stuck, as others have also mentioned.

But I also fully understand you can only do so much in a weekend and you guys did a really great job! I really enjoyed this one :D


Sadly, the game bugged at day 4 for me. I couldn't combine any more items to make the lantern, because the interface kind of disappeared.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed the game sooo much, thank you! I really want to know if I guessed correctly which animal murdered all the others :sweat_smile: So maybe I'll try once again just to ease my mind haha.


I also loved combining all the items to find the requested quest item. It was very helpful to see which items can be mixed together in the pot preview, so I didn't get stuck that long.

Thank you all for playing the game! I am the audio designer of the game. I re-played the entire game from start to finish. Because I didn't participate much in the design of element synthesis,so it also retained my "player perspective" experience. I think this game play is very interesting, so I am very grateful that our artist and programmer came up with this game play. The whole plot and final performance effects also exceeded my expectations. I still remember the excitement of our team reaching the final plot late at night. In all, respect to my team. I hope everyone enjoys the game and its audio!

Very cool style! So far, this is the most interesting game I’ve played in this jam. It’s missing a pause menu and an exit button, and there are some interface issues on widescreen monitors — but that’s minor within the scope of a jam.

very pretty game, It reminded me of those old combination games where you start from very basic elements and start making a ton of different ones
I think the game would feel better if there was no "wrong" combination of the basic elements that you can gather, even if it requires you to put a few less in the game at first

Really cool concept. I love the little puns and coziness, but I got stuck while trying to make the iPad the elements started stacking in the pots instead of the bubble, so I wasn't able to preview the mix, and I ended up creating 3 shovels in one mix kinda weird.
