A little gnome-like creature stumbles upon a hole in the wall. Inside, they find a trophy, and a corridor an eternity wide. They set up some kind of shop to make use of what they found, acquire tools to make it easier, and then... I wonder what it was all for?

I really liked how the game explores the idea of a really, really, really long index. (I have a fondness for media that deals with sorting information and how you navigate them!) You also gave me just enough of a chore for you to get your point across without me close the game- the hint at more forms of transportation through the gui elements was good, too. The emergent "push your luck" element with not crashing into the wall was also a fun surprise. Very strange wonderful little entry.

Misc: This game reminded me of the book "All the Names", which deals with a different kind of extremely long index.

The idea is very funny.
That end.......
(please next time if you do only 2 controls on keybord, please think of AZERTY users, and either put Q in replacement for A or allow arrow keys)

@hacksawunit Thank you for the detailed review! Much appreciated! I'll definitely add "All the Names" to my list.

Cool. A very fun game. But I was left with a sense of incompleteness😂

Good game. The topic theme is reached. !. The ending is epic, I really liked it.

I've played through the story twice, but I think there must be an Easter egg or something, but I think I'm tired of playing (see screenshot).

Best wishes!

I saw that Hornet cameo! Nice touch. The sheer dread I felt when it went to day two and the first label read "AAAAABY"...

Great sense of humor. From the start I had a smile on my face and after I did the 27th I tried 10 minutes to walk to the right and try to find the magic key to speed things up .. ha ha ha .. Very, very well done. I like almost everything from the title to the shadow :D :D Well Done!

A very nice game. I have to admit that I'm one of those who almost shouted "Noooo" at the end.

Great one! I really love the overall tone - the absurdity of a meaningless job you spend your life on. And the ending is just perfect. A wonderful and thought-provoking game. Congrats!

An indexing game with a lot of humor that fits the theme “collector”. Nice entry!

At first I thought it was just a big joke and that I would just never finish that game, but you did a very good job here and I had a smile the whole time! Cheers!

Love it. It feels like a silent film going through the life of something/somebody who's life is lived for the collection. Love the cold open and the tragic end, the music and voiced transitions. Some really cute character animations there too.

The gameplay reminds me that after all these years, I still need to sing through the alphabet to understand where the letters fit within it.

I don't have much to say about the game, but it's definitely an experience. This cute collector probably has the largest collection out of all the collectors at this event.

Very creative! I liked that the skateboard and sportcar didn't stop immediately. It kind of makes player select between persistence and greed. Now excuse me, have to go back playing..

The graphics were great and so was the music but the actually delivery was a bit tedious to say the least. I honestly didn't make it to the end.

@atsh may I suggest you remove the screenshot since it kinda spoils it for anyone scrolling the comments before playing? :) Just a thought.

It was fun ! I had issue for the first cup, I have been straight forward to the right and didn't understood what to do. I restarted the game and found the bot giving cup to place ! I finished the game, the ending is fun :)
Congratulations for this entry !

What a great game! I suppose the moral might be not to waste ones life and loose sight of what is important in life, but my man died doing what he loved. "One must imagine Sisyphus happy" 🏆

This was very creative! A great concept, fantastic sound design, and a clever sense of humor to tie it all together. Easily my favourite game I played this jam, very well done!

Best game so far. The concept is brilliant, and so is the execution. The sense of humor deserves its own Oscar. Bravo — hats off. I could never pull off something like that.

Really great! It ended... exactly how I started expecting it was going to . From how it started, I kind of thought it was going to go very differently... thought I'd be upgrading my movement and such, but it kept skipping ahead in delightfully surprising ways which was great. Actual gameplay felt like it got a bit worse - when I had the car, the gameplay was just staring at the spedometer and not watching what was going on above at all, if instead it zoomed out or something I think it would have felt really engaging. That being said, that's fine, the gameplay was just a vehicle for the story, which I enjoyed. Really nice music too!

Loved the concept and great execution! Each section felt like the perfect length, just long enough to explore the further distance but not too long that it felt overly repetitive. Awesome work on this, had a fun time!

HAAAAA.

I love the challenge this game gives with estimating distances to avoid crashing into the wall. That being said, I am a patient man, and could walk if I wanted to.

I recorded myself playing to give as much feedback as possible. Cheers!

That was incredible. First I thought this would be some randomized thingy and the gag would be that it would never end. But it was even better than that. Thinking there would be a satisfying end, you gave us... well I don't want to spoil it but I laughed out loud

Got a bit of a headache from this one, but that is just a skill-issue. The vibes were strong in this one, from the audio to shoving yourself through a wall, just so much random aspects to go around. Would love to see if the level is actually just a long looped hallway with every single combination or just what the gameplay requires (didn't get to the end because of the skill-issue). Gameplay is a bit thin but the gameplay gimmicks were enough to hide it.

Very cute, I loved the animation of the gnome going through the wall!

The ending made me laugh, and it was nice seeing him get older along the way.

Did you do the left hand of "Comptine d'un autre été, l'après-midi" of Yann Tiersen on purpose? :D I found it weird at first, until I realized the melody was completely different. Funny still :D

Nice game!

Fantastic game! It's such a great idea, so simple yet it's perfect for the theme. Gameplay and graphics once again simple but exactly what was needed to make the idea work. Music is real nice, a little more sound effects would have been great tho. Really love how the skateboard is introduced, simply by putting a trophy ridiculously far and letting the player figure something out. The end is perfect. Amazing game!

I love the comedy and drama in this game! Good thing it doesn't task you with slotting all 8 billion trophies

The only thing I would change is hiding inactive buttons (skate, car and a rocket) before you actually unlock these things because they kinda spoil the surprise. Otherwise, the game is perfect. I love the music and sound effects most of all!

This was hilarious, especially when you realize you can't slow down fast enough and go splat into the wall. It also has some real [Library of Babel](https://libraryofbabel.info/) vibes. It gives me a kind of otherworldly feeling scrolling through hundreds or thousands of trophy shelves, knowing I'll be spending an eternity traveling back and forth to fill them.

@rolly You got me! Yes, I used Yann Tiersen's track as a base, but I tried to make a completely new melody out of it
