Victorian Collector by GreatVV

ldjam58_art.png Step into the misty streets of Victorian London, where every object hides a story. In Victorian Collector, you play as a curious explorer and antiquarian, gathering lost relics of the past — from golden lockets and pocket watches to ink bottles, compasses, and forgotten love letters. Will you uncover all the lost treasures — or will the fog swallow them forever?

After you read all this AI generated text I can add couple lines from me.

I tried to find something new in casual puzzle grid based games (read match3). I wanted to decompose from the start - what is the player base action? - and I chose to give player possibility to remove >any amount of items in a line. To compensate such a strong ability I decided to compensate by applying negative effects >every turn from the bottom line. Player can compansate it by spending permanent items he got from previous turns. It was the original idea. I wasn't able to properly explore it because I spend majority of time editing AI generated script

How to play: You can remove any number of items in a row — just click the first and last item, and everything in between will be destroyed. After each turn, the items in the bottom row will activate their effects on your parameters. Your goal is to reach the objective before you run out of turns — or die trying. You can also drag items from your hand onto the field to use them — the item will be consumed when applied.

For me it was not really clear what I was supposed to do. It would be great to have full screen option to see a bit better what is going on on the screen.
