I also enjoyed getting sunburnt! Great entry. (also love 3d in a game jam)
I adore space games, and this one is no exception. Very pleasant graphics and a great solar system model. I also loved the optional but nice details, like dying from flying into the sun or going out of bounds.
Those people living on the tiny moon of one of the planets were tricky to find (and alas, once I wondered if there might be tiny fellas living on the sun, too, I instead discovered my ship is not entirely fireproof... Outer Wilds flashbacks there)

I rushed to the sun at the first time and soon got burned :D

The dark lighting, volume contrast and music/sfx give it a very strong mood, a simple but effective approach. Nice entry!
Very interesting mechanics, it reminds me SPORE :)
@mnemosynevl I was thinking of having one or two protected species on each planet, so that between the missions there was one about protected species, something like, "While you have that mission, you can't abduct a certain species." But since I haven't had time to include the missions, these types of missions that limit the use of the abductor have not been implemented.
BUT! The sound design and overall atmosphere were everything! I just got lost among all these stars and planets and found absolute peace and calm. That was great
Clearly a ton of work went into this. Not to rehash, but as a few others have said here, the ship controls a little awkwardly. Having said that, it didn't really get in the way of my fun exploration. The first thing I accomplished was getting a sunburn, and I knew I liked it. Tons of little details I enjoyed. Also, I liked the track you chose here, and the visuals work in a charming way, overall great work!
