Such a crazy idea! (in a good way) But it still didn't win, so the old man is left without his teeth haha. Good job

I hate the dentist! Im so old and they are so fast! The mouth at the end with the adobestock watermark was funny. Thanks!

When the actual game started and the dentists were running around and I started moving sooooo slowly, I lol'd. I didn't find any teeth though. Darn dentists are too fast!

good idea , not a bad sound track , character to dentist movement is impossible to evade.. i definitely would enjoy this more if it was more player friendly

Interesting idea for a first entry, nice and small scope! The dentist movement feels super random as others said, and there isn't much sense in replaying the game. But the music is neat, and it has a very innocent charming sense of humor. :D

A good criticism of the public health system.

Very small and short game of course, but still good work for a first game jam. Hope it was fun creating it. :)

One suggestion for future games: Having the letters appear one by one in the intro text is a nice touch. However, two recommendations for that: First, it should be skippable (i.e. press space/enter to immediately uncover the full text), otherwise it can feel a bit sluggish, especially when you've already read it before.
Second, right now the text is always centered depending on what is currently shown, so with each letter the text is shifted a bit. That makes it a bit harder to read because the text is moving all the time. It's better to make the letters appear on fixed positions, basically placing them where they will eventually be when the full text is shown. Godot actually has support for that using the "visible_characters" property. :)

Hilarious game idea, but by golly was it hard! I feel like you have to get quite lucky with your spawn in order to have a chance (or am I just a sore loser :)), it hurts being old and slow!
I appreciated the art and the game font. The music brought it all together. An all-round solid small game.

I mirror the 'skippable text' suggestion from @binaryDiv; on the other hand the 'Again' button did skip the dialogue, but it for some reason didn't work on the first load of the game

This was so funny I loved it xD The intro text set the scene so well. Evading the dentists is so hard but well worth it for the final scene

Dentist walks so fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Were I the old gentleman, I'd declaim that they run into me and make me fall.

Quite fun. I think the intro text was a bit slow and you can't seem to skip it. Also. It seemed like the upper cupboards didn't seem to open?

So funny! I didn't expect to move so slow, still fun!

This is a lovely and funny game!

Also somewhat timely for myself since I dislodged three teeth in a bicycle accident! :no_mouth:

Only two of them could be salvaged so I might need a denture at some point. (Although the gaping hole when I give a grin raises my street cred **+5** points!)

This game convinced me that I need to rummage some local dentist's office because I can't afford their over-priced services.

---

I found the random movement of the dentists both good and a bad thing. It made them feel more "menacing" but also hard to anticipate. Additional behavior-patterns would probably be a nice improvement.

Some kind of indicator and/or sound when finding a denture from the cupboard would make finding them more rewarding.

---

This is very good work for a first game!

Keep on jamming!
