Interesting choice of making different pictures for different position of the truck!

Most of the times I could just ram cars with no damage recieved (felt like it might be a bug) - only lamp posts and building were issue and I didn't feel much difference with break power/turn power etc - I continued to feel sluggish through gameplay even after I leveled all to 2. Game blackscreened on me on itch after. It felt like the only way to play for me was to move all the way to the right, then back and repeat - turning and trying to grab garbage elsewhere felt really hard for some reason.

I really like the feel of this game. The truck drives well with a few upgrades, although it crashed when I got the second turning circle upgrade. The damage system was a bit unclear because car would inconsistently damage the truck when I ran into them. I'm not sure if this was a bug, but it was great for the game, because I ended up just driving down streets recklessly, hoping that the flaming wrecks left in my wake would not cost too much health.

Wow! What a cool game! It really deserves to be more played and better known. I love the graphics, and the music is great too. Maybe I’d make the garbage truck a bit faster at the beginning or allow it to turn more easily right from the start to make it more engaging early on. But of course, maybe the idea was precisely to highlight how tricky it is to handle such a truck from the very beginning, ha, ha. Congratulations to the team, great entry, awesome game!

I found the controls a little hard at the beginning, but felt pretty good once I got the hang of it. The music and sound effects fit very well as well!

Nice music! The graphics are also quite nice! However, the controls are very inconvenient on AZERTY keyboards, which makes the game nearly unplayable. I also found it quite hard to collect garbage as it can only be collected on one side of the truck, but maybe it's a design decision. It was quite hard to control however as it rotates very slowly. I also didn't understood why it showed me 0x5 after the end of the day as I'd collected garbage and brought it back to the garbage dropoff.

With some polishing and improved controls (especially compatibility with AZERTY keyboards), it would be a really nice game.

Well done!

It's a bit tricky to control, but the car is so adorable, with great visual effects and nice music!

Fun to play, fast-paced, and surprisingly addictive. The mechanic is simple but satisfying. Nice work!

I really liked how you made the truck sprite turn; it looks really cool. The gameplay is really fun. The truck's stiffness in turning gives it weight. The random collisions are amusing. Thank you for your work.

A bit of a pity, my display can't show the full text, and both keyboard input and the mouse don't work? I can only watch the vehicle move on its own while listening to some somewhat intense music :P

Thanks @batisdark! That car crashing was a bug. We've uploaded a version 1.1 to the itch page (the web player and one of the downloads), which has fixes for the car collisions and the black screen, as well as improvements to the movement to hopefully make turning feel better (at least breaking is quicker), and other improvements. Please check it out if you'd like (more feedback is welcome!)

Thank you @googlefrog for the feedback! We've uploaded a new version with the crashing bug fixed (the game and the car). Though it's interesting that the intermittent car crash not damaging made the gameplay more interesting, maybe an idea for a mechanic!

Thanks @milq, yeah that's the idea is to make it more realistic at the start. But then once you get the upgrades it feels really good as it handles much differently! We have a new version with improved controls on itch if you'd like to give it a try!

Thanks for the suggestion @mibi88! I hadn't typically thought much about AZERTY in my games until now. After seeing your comment, I looked up the layout and realized how easy it is to just say "W or Z" and "A or Q" (so long as Z and Q aren't used otherwise). The new version 1.1 on the itch page has this implemented if you'd like to give it a try! I will definitely do this for all my games by default from now on, so thanks so much for that :D
