How to Play

Shoot monsters, collect heat, travel using firepits.

Controls

WASD/Arrows to move. W/Up is for jumping.

Space to fire at monsters.

Bug Note

I'm aware that sometimes levels don't transition properly, causing a level to loop instead. It shouldn't happen twice if it occurs.

Love the retro aesthetic and work you did with the art. Really nice. Controls were tight and easy to platform with. I was able to reach the end after blasting a bunch of people with my fireballs. The idea of managing your heat level was pretty interesting to play with as you were moving around the levels.

Good job!

Interesting concept on the heat level thing, the gameplay itself is simple but fun when mixed with that, good work.

Yo this game was great! Felt like we found a hidden gem that deserves more reviews! Love how the gameplay feels speedrun inspired, and it felt great when I finally got into the flow of things and cruised through the level. Great work!

Really good game, I dont get why you dont have more reviews (maybe you should rate more games), cause it's short but straight to the point and once you've got the mechanics figured out, that 3rd level is a real challenge. Kudos also on the aesthetics, I really like the retro/minimalist pixel art (as you may tell by my entry): it's straight to the point, perfectly readable and yet gives a unique look. Seriously, rate more games so you can have more eyes on your entry, it's one of the best games I've rated so far!

Fun little game, I liked it :) I didn’t realize at first that I was running out of time, and it’s not entirely clear what exactly we’re collecting — but it still turned out great!

Hey ! I'm the guy you helped with html and zips on discord. Thanks again !
I liked a lot your entry, although I admit I tought it was a little bit frustrating at times because of how tight the jumps can be. Introducing the fact that the player can jump *after* you start falling would have helped, I actually realised it somewhat late in my attempts. Jumping with the up arrow / W made the game a bit hard too imo, I'd prefered to play with a controler or with another key to jump.

The art looks very nice, the game's action is clear and the sounds are really good. It's clear you worked on the difficulty too to give a challenging game and sort of fast-puzzle-platformer.
Overall I really liked it.

The timelimit twist is probably the most interesting part of it, but all in all it is pretty well made - both in terms of aesthetics and gameplay feeling. Level design also feels solid.
The only complain I have is about controls - I couldn't get used to them even after a while. I don't know, my brain just wanted to press space to jump instead of up, every single time :P

Although bit hard this was really nice. The theme is clear and the oldschool aesthetics works really well here. Good job!

This visual appeals to me. I like the old-school computer game feel. That's what caught my attention. Even though it's a very short game, it was very well thought out and executed.

The firing time is too short, in my opinion. It could have been a little more generous. Even so, I managed to finish it.

Congratulations!

This is an awesome game! It feels like an early home console game.

Super tough, but super fun!
