Quite an interesting game. I love the idea of filling fireplaces with bones from dead animals instead of the usual wood. The story is really well presented through text, and together with the SFX, it gives the game a great atmosphere.

Odd but loving entry. being a compo, I see why there is no other sound than fire burning. Great job with the compo in any way.

Nice little game!

I see that it's your first entry, here are a few tips:
- Add some pictures to your submission page to make it more attractive.
- If your game is meant for the classic 16:9 format, set up your itch.io page to ensure that this aspect ratio is applied by default. I initially thought that the HUD looked strange, but then I tried full-screen mode and saw that this fixed the issue.
- Round up values like time, as having decimals makes things unclear.

I see that you took the campfire sound from Freesound (looks like this one? https://freesound.org/people/newlocknew/sounds/636708/).

Actually, assets for compo games need to be created within the 24 hours and by you only. Given this, I won't rate the audio, but you should at least opt out of the audio category and credit the author.

Otherwise, it's a good entry: the graphics are clean, and the gameplay idea fits the theme well.

I like the fact that you added a bit of a storyline and that the game feels responsive.

The biggest drawback is the lack of feedback. There's something missing when you hit enemies or get hit. Initially, I wasn't sure if I could kill things and I didn't see when I was hit. Anything like a visual effect, sound or particles would greatly improve the experience.

Anyway, good work! I can't wait to see what you'll make next time!

Thx for your feedbacks you all, I'll be glad to do something better and probably follow the rules a lil bit more next time.
