Crowlector by ZeeBee

[raw]
made by ZeeBee for Ludum Dare 58 (JAM)

Note: This game doesn't work right on here for some reason. Please play on itch if you want :D https://zeebert.itch.io/crowllecter

Play as a crafty crow trying to steal every shiny thing they can see, while avoiding the trees and flying rocks!

Press space to dive and grab the shiny stuff people are carrying, but watch out! If you dive on a person not carrying anything shiny, you will drop some of your treasures.

Use arrow keys or wasd to move around!

(This is my third ever game, so I'm honestly just happy I actually have some kind of submission. I'm sure if I spent more time on it I'd like it more but alas, Monday is not a free day for me.)

First i'm gone to the option and i'm thanksfull because there is an option to change the music volume, one problem when i back to the main menu, it's impossible to start the game or quit etc.... the main menu seems disable.
For my second test, i'm gone without going to the option, (and with the music on sadly for me), i can test the game, the graphics are good, i can only collect 4 jewells, after i can't i don"t know why, i see your problem about the rock launch in the wrong direction (i think you can easily correct this with the sprite direction).
It need more test and adjustement and maybe more variety or combo, for scoring for example. In this state it's very repetitive. Typically a "good compo" game for one dev, why post it on jam mode ?

The art is gorgeous! The title screen is fantastic and the in game sprites look so good! Your colors are spot on.

I like the music too, it's calm but not sleepy, and has nice sounding instruments.

You're clearly a talented artist and this being your third game is very impressive!

Neat! I really like the art style a lot. (And I love crows.) I spotted a couple bugs in the game like guys on the right throwing rocks backwards... but for someone still learning game dev on a limited time frame it's quite impressive. Well done.
