made by av_shustov for Ludum Dare 58 (COMPO)

In the underground cat kingdom, your task is to feed the insatiable king. Click the LMB (Left Mouse Button) on the bowl to start building a chain, then click LMB again to add a new link. Lead the chain to the barrel near the fishing spot to create a conveyor belt. You can also delete a chain by clicking the RMB (Right Mouse Button). Move the camera with WASD/Arrows.

The concept is somewhat fun, I might have played it till the end if the upgrade rate was like 5x faster!

I liked the chains of cats wiggling around a lot :D

The gameplay was a bit slow. I let the game run in a second tab to see how large the upgrade thresholds would get and I'd say it's a bit too largely scaled. I already had to deliver more than a thousand fish before being able to reach every fishing spot :O

Overall still a very fun game. The automization concept really invites this game to be a second tab game (which is not a bad thing! I loved the dopamine rush when hearing the upgrade sound xD)

Interesting concept and well executed. The cats are cute, the gameplay is enjoyable, and it’s a great puzzle game—even if it’s a bit on the slow side.

Neat idea for an automation game. I did like watching the chains of cats flop around, the physics must've been a challenge. The artstyle is very minimalist and functional. Faster level progression would be nice for getting all the fishing spots.

Fun lil' take on an idle game; I really like the concept of being able to build up a bigger and bigger chain to make reaching more valuable deposits easier. Would be a bit nice if the progression were a *little* faster though, as others have already pointed out.

A nice little incremental idle game, and a cute take on the theme. It's oddly satisfying to see your chains of cats reach that little bit wider with each successive upgrade, allowing you to cast your metaphorical net that much wider and gradually increasing your output. I definitely wouldn't mind playing a larger, more elaborate version of this.

The idea of using cats as a chain to build a fishing conveyor belt is super creative and really fun to play with. The upgrade system feels a bit slow at times, but once you unlock all the abilities, it’s super satisfying. Well done!

Well, that was weird — and honestly kind of funny :) But overall, if this was their first game, I’d say good luck to them!

Really fun and weird concept! I agree with the other comments that the upgrade rate feels a bit too slow.

The concept is good. I think the benefits of choosing the "Add Speed" option are far less than those of the other options. What also needed is a shortcut key that allows player locate the cat king when exploring map.

A fun idle. The chain mechanics feel fresh!

The progression needed to be not just a little faster, but exponential, like in other incremental games.

The game is a bit lacking in responsiveness. For example, highlighting the cursor when hovering and making interactive areas more clear are ideal. It's also a bit odd that you can build through walls.
